With a Nutri-Grade ranking of B, Coca-Cola and Starbucks are on the list.

Singapore is always in the fight against diabetes and we certainly do not run out of ideas for doing so.

Enter the newly-launched Nutri-Grade which rates drinks (except alcoholic beverages and special purpose foods) from ‘A’ to ‘D’ according to their level of sugar and saturated fat.

Source: MOH

You guessed it correctly. ‘A’ stands for the healthiest choice — drinks that are the lowest in sugar and saturated fat.

D-graded drinks not allowed to be advertised

Not-so-good news: Drinks slapped with a ‘C’ or ‘D’ grade must be clearly labelled with their Nutri-Grade mark on the front of their packaging.

Advertising is also prohibited for D-graded drinks except at point-of-sale platforms.

Fortunately, there are still some popular drinks that are in the A or B Nutri-Grade range that you can still enjoy without worrying too much. That being said, do everything in moderation.

Get your A and B Nutri-Grade drinks on Amazon Fresh for the best deals

Although many of us enjoy indulging in a refreshing beverage, the task of making a trip to the supermarket and transporting heavy cartons or bottles can be both time-consuming and physically demanding.

We’d highly recommend buying drinks online, specifically on Amazon Fresh because it’s cheaper and more convenient to have them delivered to your doorstep.

With Amazon Fresh, you can even get your goods delivered to you on the same day for free!

But here’s the catch: you’ll have to be an Amazon Prime member first in order to purchase from Amazon Fresh.

However, don’t rush to close the tab if you’re not a Prime member yet — you can sign up for a free 30-day trial here. After that, subscription is just $2.99 per month.
