If Meghan Markle’s imminent wedding to Prince Harry is anything to go by, fairytales are not just tales but can become reality. To give you a helping hand on your own route to princess town, here’s the most eligible royal bachelors waiting to win your heart.
We’ve all been those little girls dreaming of growing up and marrying a prince to live a ‘happily ever after’ life in a castle – but then we grew up and realised it’s all fictional tales. After all, royalty usually only marry into other royalty or people of the same heritage and similar circles, making it even harder for our ‘rags to riches’ ideals to come true.
That is, until Meghan Markle – an American TV actress, won the heart (and ours!) of the United Kingdom’s Prince Harry and here she is, set to marry him in a few weeks time.
So on the basis that Meghan Markle has revived and ignited all our inner wannabe princess dreams, we scoped out the single princes from across the globe that could sweep you off your feet.

Our first pick has to be the absolutely gorgeous Asian royalty that is Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei. He’s the tenth child of the Sultan of Brunei and thus a long way away from the throne but in all honesty, we couldn’t care less. At the ripe age of 26, there’s no denying he is physically beautiful.
He began his education in St Andrews, Scotland before moving back to Brunei to study at both Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College and Jerudong International School. He graduated in 2011 as an officer cadet at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, United Kingdom and promoted to the rank of Second Lieutenant. If all that wasn’t enough, Abdul then went on to study again in London and by 2016, he was awarded Master of Arts in International Studies and Diplomacy the University of London.
We have no words. Actually we do…
Last month he became a qualified as a helicopter pilot in Defence Helicopter Flying School at RAF Shawbury and can also pilot jets. He plays polo and represented his country in the SEA Games last year, he can play the guitar and…he adores cats.
If all that isn’t enough to sweep you off your feet, just take a look at this topless shots on his Instagram and you’ll turn into one of his fangirls. Whoever bags this man has won at life lottery and we say, make sure it’s you.

Aged 35 (must want to settle down with a lovely woman soon, surely?), the Prince of Brunei known as ‘Prince Azim’ is third in line to the throne.
Whilst being the second born prince to His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, prince Azim has taken an alternative route to the majority of ‘publicity shy’ royalty and embraced the limelight in all his glory.
He’s a firm favourite with the press because of his infamous ‘ladies man’ lavish ways, including celebrity filled indulgent parties. If you think you’re capable of handling such a lifestyle or even taming the ‘wild ways’, then Azim is a super choice – particularly given the location being so close to our lovely Singapore island.

Aged 31 (great marriage age we have to say), Prince Philippos was born to King Constantine II of Greece and Queen Anne-Marie in 1986 in London. Why not in Greece? Well, the Greek monarchy was abolished and his family fled to the U.K – meaning he is a prince in title only. That won’t phase us.
He’s currently in America, working and living in New York City with hedge funds. Given how elusive he is to press and fame – you’ll be hard pushed to find him unless you have connections to him or know him directly.

Jean Christophe is 31 years old and the heir of Napoleon Bonaparte. In fact he’s a direct descendant from the actual Napoleon Bonaparte himself – he’s the great-great-great-great-nephew. Whilst technically France has no monarchy (it was abolished way back in the 18th century), Jean Christophe is still given the prince title and is a member of the ‘Imperial House of France’.
An academic through and through, he matriculated at the HEC School of Management in Paris, graduating in 2011 with an MSc in management, and from here he moved to NYC to become an investment banker analyst for Morgan Stanley. After that he went to London as a private equity associate for Advent International. A very sharp minded intelligent man – a perfect match for the woman who admires a logical brain.

Sheikh Hamdan is 35 years old and is the Crown Prince of Dubai (now that’s what we’re talking about!). Title aside, he’s a bucket load of talent and husband-worthy attributes all rolled into one. The Instafamous billionaire is known for being a talented equestrian, a semi-professional skydiver, great photographer and is often snapped travelling the world. He’s a huge animal lover (yasssss) and has humility beyond his royal heritage – heck, he’s even been snapped riding the London underground.
He is literally a Middle East action man…with an adoration for camels. If you reckon you could keep up with his active lifestyle and maybe even show him a few of your own talents, we’re sure you’ll win his heart. Oh, and you must love animals too, natch.

Aged 26, Prince Joachim of Belgium and Archduke of Austria-Este is currently ninth in line to the Belgium throne, so chances of becoming King are pretty slim.
Educated in England and then in Italy (how well rounded of him), he volunteered for an army training course at the Centre for Basic Training in Arlon, Belgium back in 2010 and has now taken his place as an officer in the Belgian Navy. If you like blondes, a man in uniform and you love the ocean, Joachim could be your dream pick.

At the tender age of 23, Prince Hussein is next in line to the throne and currently a second lieutenant in the Jordanian Armed Forces. He is another prince that has thrived in the limelight and is an Instagram star in his own right, with a whopping 1.3 million followers.
And it’s through his images that we can learn so much more about him, such as he’s a keen adventurer and enjoys climbing, playing guitar and boxing – he’s even posted a photo of him playing chess.

At 26 years old, Prince Sébastien Henri Marie Guillaume is the Prince of Luxembourg and Prince of Nassau AND Prince of Bourbon-Parma. So if you’re going all out for serious royalty, he’s your guy (although he’ll probably never be King, given that he’s youngest of five children).
He has a degree in International business, marketing and communications from Ohio’s Franciscan University of Steubenville and at the end of last year he took the oath as an officer of the Luxembourg Army. He is now serving as a platoon commander in the 1st Bn Irish Guards.

He’s now 43 and aged like a fine wine (pictured on the right) – second in line to the throne and coincidentally one of Europe’s wealthiest monarchs, he’s a billionaire who actually enjoys the limelight. Given that he used to date the stunning Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima back in the noughties, we can’t help but fear he’s probably got very high standards for the aesthetics of his future wife.

Aged 34 and twelfth in line for the throne, Prince Albert is a German socialite and head of the House Thurn und Taxis. With a huge passion for racing cars (hence this photo) he lives in Bavaria at his family’s castle (where else should a prince live after all?) and avoids the limelight where possible.
He has been listed many times in Forbes’ billionaire list, the first time when he was just eight years old. So if you like European men and fast cars – this one’s for you.
