Sentosa will soon be adding another gem to its growing medley of lifestyle destinations in August this year.

Trendy hotel chain, W, will be opening the highly-anticipated W Singapore at Sentosa Cove, where guests can soak up a vibrant dining and entertainment experience amidst an exotic tropical setting.

W Hotels to hold talent search for August opening

Known for the brand’s cutting-edge design concepts, W Singapore will see patrons luxuriate in the 240 guest rooms decorated with iconic Singaporean elements such as batik print and the Vanda Miss Joaquim, and also offer top-notch amenities like six spa rooms, three spa suites, Bose in-room sound systems, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and outdoor heated pool.

The hotel will also house several bars and restaurants, notably SKIRT – the hotel’s signature steakhouse featuring Latin-style grilled quality cuts of meat, seafood and other organic produce – and The Kitchen Table – an all-day dining restaurant offering international fare.

Partygoers can paint the town red at WOOBAR, poised to be the next clubbing hotspot with its exciting creations from W’s mixologist and resident DJ; or chill out at WET Bar, a poolside cafe offering innovative bites and creative cocktails.

As part of the hotel’s impeccable attention to service and details, guests can also look forward to Whatever/Whenever – a 24-hour concierge service that quite literally aims to assist you in getting whatever you want whenever you want.

The hotel, together with The Residences at W, as well as a unique selection of retail, dining and shopping tenants will form The Quayside Isle at Sentosa Cove.

In line with its hip and dynamic image, W Singapore will be searching for over 200 of the best local service talents to work at the hotel.

To be held at Fort Canning Park, candidates will undergo a series of engagement sessions and interviews conducted by a panel of judges made up of W management team to assess their personality and fit for the position.

General Manager, Stephane Fabregoul, says that W Singapore is looking for individuals with a unique and outgoing personality that will complement the exuberance of the brand, and hopes that this “reality-TV” screening process will allow the true star talents to shine.

The hotel will be partnering with the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) to equip new hires with full qualifications through contextualised training. Interested candidates should attend the casting with your latest updated resume, a recent portrait shot and be dressed in trendy and stylish attire that exudes W’s passion for fashion, music and design.
