This October, you’d get to post on social media and do go at the same time – what’s not to like?

To raise awareness for breast cancer, four iconic buildings – CHIJMES, National Gallery, The Fullerton Hotel and Ion Orchard –  around Singapore will go pink when night falls. As a mark of solidarity to the campaign, these buildings be illuminated in pink until Oct 14, 2017. We suggest you scoot on over down to capture a shot with your friends and family, post a photo on social media and Estee Lauder will do their part.

‘The Beautiful Scar’ by Chan Clayrene

From now to Oct 31,2017, Estee Lauder will donate US$25 ($34.17)  to fund half-an-hour of breast cancer research with every unique post on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtags #PinkRibbon25 and #ELCdonates. The aim is to reach a  goal of funding a maximum of 500 research hours through The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

In fact, you can also play a crucial role in contributing to the campaign via recreational delights such as a picnic and movie in the park, or indulging in afternoon tea treats for a good cause. We’ve elaborated further on that here.

‘Inside Out’ by Limzy

If you consider yourself a connoisseur of the arts, you’d be thrilled to know that Estee Lauder is also partnering with a select group of artists – namely Clayrene Chan, Lim Zhi Wei, Rachel Koh, Sun Lee Siew Loo and Emma Chong to specially create works of art that will shed light on the cause and highlight the attributes of the campaign; Beauty, Courage, Confidence, Fearlessness and Hope.

Each artist will contribute two artworks that will be featured in a Roving Exhibition taking place from September to October 2017 at multiple locations. Through this exhibition of crafted-with-love artwork, Estee Lauder and the artists hope to activate the community by sharing more about the Breast Cancer Foundation’s (BCF) milestones, inspiring stories from survivors, and spur emergency for early detection amongst visitors. All sales proceeds from these artworks will be going to the BCF.
