Soft serve ice-cream brand Honey Creme from Taiwan will soon open a Singapore outlet — we share what we know about it so far!

While the current soft serve yogurt craze seems far from dying out, a new Korean-style dessert chain from Taiwan may give it a run for its money. Meet Honey Creme, a soft serve ice-cream brand that will soon open the doors to its first Singapore store at 313@Somerset.

Here’s what we know so far …

1. Soft-serve, like you’ve never had before
We’ve heard colleagues already raving about the store’s signature handmade ice cream that they’ve tried in Hong Kong.

The milky-smooth soft serve ice cream comes topped with a chunk of honeycomb, as well as a fun assortment of unusual toppings including cotton candy and popcorn; it’s also served affogato-style with a shot of espresso.

The eclectic range of toppings will likely be replicated in Singapore, although prices and menu items have yet to be finalised at this point. Here’s a peek at the chain’s Taiwanese menu, for a preview of the flavours that you can expect.

2. Where to find the store
Situated at 313@Somerset, this new dessert stop takes over the space once occupied by bubble tea chain Gong Cha. You’ll find it conveniently located right next to the mall’s taxi stand and 7-Eleven convenience store.

3. When the store will open
Last we heard from the brand, the store is tentatively set to open from late October 2014.

4. Where else in the world you’ll find it
Already hugely popular in Taiwan and Hong Kong, this soft serve chain will also open its debut store in Macau soon too.

The Honey Creme store in Singapore is expected to open from late October 2014 at 313@Somerset, Level 1 (next to the taxi stand). Go to the Honey Creme Singapore Facebook page for more information.
