It’s the most wonderful time of the year. No we’re not talking about Christmas. We’ve reached the middle of the year, which means it’s time to get into some serious retail therapy with the Great Singapore Sale. Now in its 25th year, the annual shopping bonanza has seen its shimmer pale somewhat, given that there are plenty of online sales (from 11.11 to 12.12 to Black Friday to Cyber Monday and more) happening almost every month.

But Singapore’s biggest shopping event of the year, which will take place from June 21 to July 28, has rebranded itself this year. It’s now called GSS: Experience Singapore, with a focus on being a festival of sorts, shining the spotlight on Singapore fashion, food and the arts.

There’s a fashion show at Orchard Road (The Orchard Road Fashion Scramble, 3pm to 5.30pm on June 21) and a pop-up market The Great Singapore Street Pop-up, which will see over 40 retail stalls lining Orchard Road, selling products ranging from fashion accessories to novelty items and craft supplies (June 21 to 30). There will also be film screenings at the Design Orchard and Grange Road carpark and a tour of Kampong Glam on a Vespa (KG Precinct Tour, from July 5 to 14).

But if you are still looking to cash in on some good deals, there’s plenty of that available. Below are some you can get in on. Time to break out your plastic.
