This offers a selection of finishes and textures that couldn’t be achieved with paint previously, including metallic, linen, velvet, marble, and a unique Colour Motion effect (below) that reveals different hues when viewed from varying angles and under different light sources.

How would you achieve the look of a brick wall with paint? This collection’s designer series, Travertino (above), is a special effects paint on which you can easily carve your desired shape and pattern.

Nippon also allows you to transform your favourite coloured wall into a shiny surface, with its pearlescent semi-transparent paint that can be glazed over existing wall colours, such as the Cloud Pearl (above). TIP: Create patterns, such as stripes or zigzags, using paint. Stripes can be used to camouflage surface flaws, such as a protruding structural column (below).
