From The Straits Times    |

The second trailer was released September 29 for New Year’s Eve, the romantic comedy with an all-star ensemble about the lives of couples and singles on December 31 as they prepare to join the crowds in Times Square at midnight for the ball drop.

The cast includes Sarah Jessica Parker, Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Swank, Jon Bon Jovi, Zac Efron, Glee’s Lea Michele, Halle Berry, Katherine Heigl, Jessica Biel, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Josh Duhamel, Michelle Pfeiffer, Abigail Breslin, Sofia Vergara, and more.

From the director of Pretty Woman, Garry Marshall brings a variation of his film Valentine’s Day to this romantic comedy about another holiday that brings couples together — or not — and is fraught with emotional pressure.

In the background the chorus of Pitbull’s "Everything Tonight" featuring Ne-Yo plays. Even Robert DeNiro shows up to say, "Nothing beats New York on New Year’s Eve."

The film releases in theaters December 9 in North America, Brazil and the UK, December 21 in France, and December 23 in Japan and more markets.
