The party starts at 9pm – with a special five-course menu ($450 per person) by chef Emanuele Faggi including Italian delights such asc egg and cream topped with Astrakhan Beluga caviar, and hand-crafted ‘ravioli’ with ‘stracciatella’ cheese filling served with sea urchin and coffee.

Guests can strike their best pose at the Gatsby themed photowall, complete with accessories and your complimentary glass of champagne in hand, before making their way to the Terrace Lounge for amazing views of Marina Bay and the fireworks.

3. The Float@Marina Bay: Star Island

Promising to be a New Year’s Eve extravaganza like no other, Star Island Singapore Countdown Edition presents a fireworks musical (yes, you read that right), that combines pyrotechnics, lights, lasers, live performances and 3D surround sound to make this a new year to remember.

In conjunction with Marina Bay Singapore Countdown, this is the international debut of this production by Avex, Japan’s top entertainment group (artistes like EXO, Koda Kumi and Demi Lovato are signed to the label).

Journey through Star Island, across six choreographed chapters: Ceremony (Opening), Earth, World, Chaos, Love, One. You’ll be immersed in surround sound thanks to the 200 speakers, and equipped with your very own LED wristband that will respond to the show, adding to the magic.

4. Bar Rouge: Electric Sky

From way up on high, on the 71st floor of Swissotel the Stamford, Bar Rouge invites you to a night of electrifying extravagance at their Electric Sky ($50 per person, inclusive of one glass of champagne) fiesta.

Partygoers, come dressed in your Silver Glam best, and stand to twin a three-course dinner for two with champagne at SKAI restaurant.

Expect interactive visual installations, including a silver arch fashioned out of prismatic balloons, that greets you at the entrance. While we’re not very good at keeping new year’s resolutions, we won’t pass up the chance to write our helium hopes on the installation for an awesome 2019.
