Who doesn’t love cafe-hopping, especially with new cafes popping up every other day here in Singapore? That said, there just seems to so many interesting cafes worth visiting but I just can’t seem to find the time for all of them. It doesn’t help that I don’t own a car which is a major pain considering how many of these much raved about cafes tend to be hidden in some out of the way corner of Singapore and scattered all over the island.

Now though, there’s a way to hit all of these hot cafe spots in Singapore at just one location with the world’s first cafe-hopping event, Cafe Fest happening right here in Singapore. Featuring 12 of the best home-grown cafés, including Toby’s Estate, Maison Ikkoku, OZ Specialty Coffee and more, the two-day festival will serve up coffee and pastries along with live local music performances and tons of fun games.

While admission is free, festival visitors have to purchase café-hopping passes from the Café Fest website and selected participating cafés to enjoy the wide variety of drinks and treats at the event. A two-day pass costs $20, complete with free rides and all-round access to everything the festival has to offer. If you want the full VIP treatment, opt for the $30 pass for access to a shaded VIP area, expedited entry and a welcome drink to kickstart the day.

Date: September 6 to 7, 2014
Time: 10am to 7pm on Saturday and 10am to 8pm on Sunday
Venue: Waterfront Promenade
Admission: Free but passes priced at $20 and $30 (Early Bird) are required to enjoy the discounted food and drinks at the event
