PANORAMA: Recent Art from Contemporary Asia
Singapore Art Museum expands its resident art exhibition with 24 new works from 17 artists. Works include some never seen before art from Cambodia and Vietnam and four Singaporean artists. The exhibition also features the perfect accompaniment, entitled Tomorrow, Today: Contemporary Art from the Singapore Art Museum (2009-2011), the book highlights over 300 fully illustrated artworks by more than 140 artists.

Shoot Out!
The School of Photography Singapore (SOP) is here with Shoot Out! For the first time, this one-day workshop refreshes amateurs and professionals with the basics of photography in the retro Queenstown Cinema. Hurry, as slots are limited.

Music at the Monuments
Did you know that our local monuments inspired music? Local acts The Analog Girl, I Am David Sparkle and Costra Nostra will bring you to three Musicity locations to enjoy their unique compositions inspired by these historical buildings while showing you to the history behind them. Monuments covered include the Hong San See Temple, Asian Civilisations Museum and Singapore Art Museum. A shuttle bus is provided from one monument to another.

Ultimate Hawker Fest 2012
Promising a gastronomical journey like no other, the Ultimate Hawker Fest 2012 brings together more than 20 hawkers, chefs and F&B outlets to do their part for charity. Guest-of-honour Mr Tan Chuan Jin, Acting Minister for Manpower and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of National Development will grace this event highlighting Singapore’s hawker heritage. Celebrity chef Eric Teo will serve his rendition of the favourite hawker dish, Laska paired with Boston Lobster meat and third generation hawkers of Hock Lam Beef and Kueh Tu Tu will recreate the famous dishes of their forefathers.

Mary Chia’s 30th Anniversary ‘iMspiration’ Art Affair
Mary Chia celebrates thirty years with an art exhibition ‘IMSPIRATION’ with works from artists with disabilities. Thirty artworks including a stunning recreation of a Marilyn Monroe iconic portrait and an exquisite carving of bunnies on lipsticks by artists from Singapore Contemporary Young Artists (SCYA) and Very Special Arts (VSA) Singapore will be exhibited and put up for auction at this art affair. Thirty per cent of the proceeds raised will go towards VSA Singapore. Mary Chia will also produce a commemorative limited-edition iMspiration notebook which features selected exhibited artworks printed in full gloss color retailing at $39.90. For every copy sold during the arts exhibition, the brand will donate S$5 to VSA Singapore.
