An Evening With Benyamin Nuss – A Gift of Music to Singapore
A rising star in world classical music and with two CDs released to date under the world-renowned Deutsche Grammophon label, this 23-year-old talent of German-Singaporean parentage will make his Singapore debut with solo performances as well as collaborative performances with outstanding talents from the School of the Arts (SOTA), the first independent, pre-tertiary arts school in Singapore. Proceeds from the sale of concert tickets will be channelled towards AMP’s Ready for School Fund, which assists students from low-income families of all races.

A Dedication to the Sea – Solo Exhibition by Charwei Tsai
Espace Louis Vuitton Singapore presents A Dedication to the Sea. The new exhibition will highlight the sea’s mystical and compelling beauty against the backdrop of the nautical-inspired Louis Vuitton Island Maison on the Marina Bay waterfront. Curated by Singapore-based Eugene Tan, Charwei Tsai reflects on the complex relationship between the sea and our contemporary society in her solo exhibition using videos, photographs and objects from the sea such as driftwood and seashells.

Date: From now until Feb 2013.

The Art of Living; Art of Giving exhibition
An exhibition of handmade gifts, is on display at Scotts Square, Level 2. LASALLE’s Design students have created twelve unique artworks based on one of two design themes: “Packaging of Time” and “The value of everyday objects”. Shoppers are able to vote for their favourite artwork and stand a chance to win the winning artwork.

Clash of Continents
The inaugural 2012 edition, features four world-class tennis stars, each representing their continent. Kei Nishikori (JPN), Janko Tipsarevic (SRB), Sam Querrey (USA) and Juan Monaco (ARG) will compete over two days and battle for “Pride, Honor & Glory” and the prize money of US$520,000. Alongside the event is the addition of a Tennis Festival at the Kallang Tennis Centre that aims to encourage communities from all walks of life to learn tennis and to lead a healthy active lifestyle through sport. November 25 also marks the debut showcase performance of British Pop singer, Leona Lewis.

Voilah! Festival and Zouk present The Plasticines 
Born in the Parisian suburbs in 2006, The Plasticines consists of three mademoiselles who have brought their brand of Indie Rock ‘n’ Roll to stages all over the world. With the release of their first album, LP1, the three-piece band brought  their sounds all over France, Sweden, Italy and the UK, and even made it to the famed Coachella stage in California. Their 2009 release, About Love, included the singles “Barcelona”, “Bitch” and “I Am Down”, all of which enjoyed airtime on American TV show, Gossip Girl, and was classified by France’s Rolling Stone magazine as the 100th Best French Rock Album in 2010.
