The Song of India is celebrating Mother’s Day with a special 4-course lunch and dinner menu created by Chef Millind Sovani. Set in a stylish black and white colonial bungalow, the whole family can relax and dine on dishes such as pan-fried halibut, tandoori lamb kebabs and mushroom stuffed chicken roulade with cardamom cheese sauce. There will also be a magnificent brunch, with free flow of beer and an array of food such as succulent kebabs, barbequed seafood and naan. Make it a family affair – mum dines free for every 3 (4-course menu) or 5 (brunch) paying guests.

Oriole Café & Bar’s latest Sunday brunch is served until 3pm, with favourites such as the Full English Breakfast ($17) which features the complete works – pork sausage, bacon, mushroom, eggs sunny-side up and toast – as well as the scrumptious Eggs Benedict ($14), a combination of honey baked ham, poached egg and hollandaise sause with English muffins.
Sip on one of Oriole’s coffee creations like Citrus Sin ($6), containing orange juice, brown sugar, clover leaf honey, vanilla, thyme, mint, star anise and cinnamon combined with a blend of chocolate, milk and an espresso shot.

Watch a heart-warming special Mother’s Day concert with mum
Regional veteran artistes Ding Mercado and Babes Conde will be performing a free Mother’s Day concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall. Ding will be bringing you tunes from the 60’s to the 80’s plus familiar Broadway show-tunes. Babes will perform some of her original hits and other popular songs.
Admission is on a first-come-first-served basis, doors open at 6.45pm.
