#Grooms We Love: “It is his consistent and loving nature that draws me to him. I’m so blessed to have this man in my life.”

Nixi Tan tells us the endless ways her husband-to-be, Ng Hwee Sheng, is a huge blessing to her, in loving acts big and small.

“Hweesheng, my husband-to-be, makes me fall in love with him every single day! It is his consistent and loving nature that draws me to him. He doesn't just say 'I love you' daily, but most importantly, I feel his love for me through his little acts of love.  

Every single day, without fail, he would ask me to share my daily happenings with him. And each time, he would listen intently to what I've to say, even when he's tired or down at work. What touches me the most is how he never fails to thank and appreciate me for sharing my life with him.

Why do I love him?

The way he considers and puts me first before himself, the way he gently grabs and holds my right hand whenever he's driving in the car, the way he refills the water dish for my cat Fifty, the way he rushes to be by my side when I'm unwell, the way he checks in on me through text to cheer me on for the rest of the day, the way he spends time with me at Starbucks while I do my assignments, the way he learns sign language just so that he can communicate with my parents - the lists goes on and on.

All these acts of love speaks louder than words. My heart is so overwhelmed, knowing that I'm so blessed to have this man in my life. He's irreplaceable to me and I can't wait to walk down the aisle and to spend the rest of my life with him."
