Channel 8 actor Xu Bin is getting married!

SINGAPORE - Mediacorp actor Xu Bin is getting married.

In an Instagram post on his account @xubin_ on Monday (Oct 9) night, he shared a video of himself saying: "Everyone, I have some very blissful news to share. I am getting married."

The 28-year-old did not share any information about his wife-to-be Yi Fei, but said that he would be holding a press conference on Tuesday (Oct 10), where he will answer any questions about his upcoming nuptials.

Until then, fans get to glimpse his bride in a picture posted on Xu's artiste management agency NoonTalk Media's Instagram page (@noontalk_ media) on Monday night. In the photo, the couple are seen decked out in full wedding gear on a beach in the Maldives.

A short video from that wedding photo shoot was also shared.

The actor, who was born in China, is known for his sunny good looks and for starring in popular Channel 8 TV dramas such as long-form sitcom 118 (2014) and nursing drama You Can Be An Angel 2 (2016).

He would also be the first of Mediacorp's heavily promoted stable of '8 Dukes' to get married.

The '8 Dukes', a group of the station's hottest young male stars, also includes Desmond Tan, Shane Pow, Ian Fang, Romeo Tan, Aloysius Pang, Zhang Zhenhuan and Jeffrey Xu.
