Actor Chris Pratt announces engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger!

Actor Chris Pratt, 39 and Katherine Schwarzenegger, 29, have announced their engagement, following a whirlwind romance that became public last June.

Pratt shared a sweet image of the couple in an embrace, with Schwarzenegger sporting a large engagement ring on her finger that reportedly costs over six figures.

“Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I'm thrilled to be marrying you,' he captioned the image. 'Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!'

Pratt’s new fiancé is the daughter of actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver, and it is reported that Shriver was the one who set the couple up!

On Schwarzenegger's 29th birthday last month, Pratt also shared in an Instagram post that he was "thrilled" to be with his new beau.

It will be the first marriage for Schwarzenegger and the second from Pratt, who had split from actress Anna Faris back in August 2017 whom he has a 6 year-old son with.

Faris was among the first to congratulate the couple on their engagement news in the comment sections, saying “I’m so happy for you both!! Congratulations!”

The two have kept to being close friends and co-parents.

Last April, Faris told Sirius XM: "We have a great friendship. We really do. And we always have. And yeah, it's always tough to envision your future as one thing, but I think there's a lot of love.”
