1. All in the family

The couple, who met more than 10 years ago, and dated for five, made their union official at the Hotel Seri Pacific in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The wedding was solemnised by Nasir’s father, Professor Madya Dr. Md Nasir Ibrahim.

2. The wedding gowns

Nasir, who's best known for her work in Mahligai Cinta, Nona, Wanita Hari Ini, & Melodi, looked a vision in a bespoke figure-skimming white Rizalman gown and veil at her solemnisation ceremony. The mermaid-cut design featured sheer lace sleeves and neckline, as well as a show-stopping peplum detail around her shoulders.

Her second gown, which she wore to her reception at The Grand Hyatt, was an exquisite hand-painted pastel confection by Indonesian-born designer Putra Aziz for The Cosry.

3. The decor

Flowers were clearly the main draw of the day, for the romantic and glamorous set-ups. Rows and rows lined the venue at the solemnisation ceremony as well as the dais, while more blooms furbished the ceiling, and stage at the reception.

4. The wedding cake

The elaborate four-tiered confection was dressed with lush white blooms that matched the venue.

5. The bridesmaids

Nasir’s bridesmaids, her sisters, wore beautiful matching peach-hued dresses with beaded and crystal embellishments at the solemnisation ceremony. They later wore floor-length mint gowns to the reception. The mother of the bride matched the girls in a glamorous mint baju kurung with beaded and crystal details, as well.
