SOL ACRES SPECIAL

Grand Dropoff

1. Bang for your buck

Whether you intend to move in the near future or not, ECs are well worth the investment. Compared to a new private condo in the same location, new EC units currently cost about 20 to 30 per cent lower in comparison. ECs will, however, eventually be priced similarly to condominiums or private properties after five years.

2. Enjoy your rights!

CPF Housing Grants are a right every Singaporean should enjoy, and for ECs, grants of up to $30,000* are available. Here’s the best part: you both need to earn a combined income of only $4,500* to be able to afford a one bedroom apartment in Sol Acres.

3. Modern facilities and designs

At first glance, an EC and a condo do not look that different. Sleek facades, floor-to-ceiling windows, a refreshing resort-like colour palette and atmosphere, and extra security are some of the similarities they both share. Venture within, and you’ll find that an EC has the same facilities – like a swimming pool, gym, club house, function rooms, and so on, too. Individual units are in move-in condition, and just as luxurious.

See this article for more information on Sol Acres’ facilities.

4. Convenience is everything

With its proximity to two LRT stops, Keat Hong and Teck Whye, driving is no longer necessary. Sol Acres is also minutes away from Choa Chu Kang MRT and Bukit Panjang MRT, which are on the North South and Downtown lines respectively.

If you’re working around the Jurong Lake District or looking to shop at JEM and Westgate, you’ll be pleased to know that the area is practically a stone’s throw away (it is a 10-minute drive). Don’t own a car? There are free shuttle bus services** to take you to and from the area. Jurong Lake District is also just a few stops away via MRT.

On weekends, grocery shopping is a breeze too, thanks to the availability of wet markets and supermarkets just walking distance away.
