Wedding selfie game: 6 things to avoid doing

We all love selfies and we love to share them on social media even more! But here are some wedding selfies you should never snap and share!

1) Almost nude

So you may be proud of losing all that weight before your big day but taking a selfie in your undergarments before slipping on the dream gown is a big No-No! We want to keep pictures of your big day all dreamy and romantic - so let's stick to happy, romantic shots. Flaunt your curves with a honeymoon selfie when you're slinking around in a brand new swimsuit!

2) Bare Not

Every bride wants to look radiant and beautiful on their wedding day.So selfies of makeup-free brides (with damp hair and wrapped in bathrobes) getting made up might spoil the whole effect of presenting your best face forward to your guests. Save these snaps for your own private use, or post them later on social media if you'd like your friends to see your makeup transformation. For big day postings, only the made-up selfies please!

3) Happy Moments

Not everyone loves a selfie. When taking selfies with guests and family, ask if they're comfortable about it beforehand. If not, you might end up with a shot of a smiley bride and a very grouchy-looking aunt/friend/colleague!

4) Don't Eat

There's something unseeming about pictures of the bride and groom eating or gorging on food on their wedding day. Nibbling and poised eating shots are fine but do avoid unsightly selfies of yourself all dressed up in your gown and veil digging in on your favorite dishes.

5) Smile, Don't Laugh!

If you're out clubbing and taking fun selfies with your girlfriends, big open-mouthed laughs are fun! But as a bride, laugh and smile prettily - we don't want to see your tonsils and tooth filling in every shot!

6) Never When Drunk

Have a blast at the end of the festivities but avoid a selfie at all costs! You never really know what you're doing when you're drunk or high so avoid the camera or you'll regret posting those wild snaps after your wedding.
