Ang bao rates for Singapore hotel weddings and banquets in 2019

Ang bao rates are always a tricky thing to measure. What’s too much or too little? Plus, everyone has their own idea on what’s suitable, so it’s hard to ask opinions on the matter.

Family members and close ones often pay more to show their love and support for the newlyweds. The same isn’t really expected if you’re attending the wedding of the daughter of a cousin of your aunt on your maternal side. 

If one must absolutely have a guide though, go with 10% of the estimated table rate, since that will cover your place at the table.
