Day celebration

Match silverware to solid hues, like these here, and clear glass accessories. Then add cream roses in matte gold bottles and branches of silver leaves in tall vases to add height to the arrangement. The finished look: sensational!

Joseph & Joseph fork and spoon, $3.90 each, knife, $4.50, and IVV glass dinner plate, $69, from TANGS. Oslo square crystal candle holder, $34.95, and Mingle Double Old-Fashioned glass, $18.95, from CRATE & BARREL.

Place setting

Bunches of cream roses and vibrant greens enliven a modern setting of pretty touches.

Tulle and lace gown, $2,800 to rent or $3,500 to buy, from FELINE WEDDING. Tiffany chair, rental price upon enquiry, from XOXO & CO.

Day look

It’s official. White is no longer the only option for brides-to-be. Silver plays up cooler skin tones.

Bride's bouquet

Blue symbolises purity and fidelity. Paired with eustomas, proteas, silver brunia, waxflowers, dusty millers, eryngium and China roses in a bouquet, this normally serene shade takes on a festive air befitting a wedding.

Favours

Great style is in the details, so don’t hesitate to think small, like packing these bottles with herb-flavoured salt as favours. Another idea: Table games for guests to amuse themselves while waiting for the rest of your celebration to roll out.

Mingle and Prime glass decanters, $94.95 each, Casena metal tongs, $14.95, and Orb glasses (filled with fruit) $14.95 each, from CRATE & BARREL.

Party spirit

Set up your own bar and have guests make this own cocktails. Mimosa, anyone?

Details

Turn up the glam factor with different-sized candles set alight in gleaming jars and holders.

Stationery

To match the lavish setting, keep invites and other things stylish and simple. This menu catches the eye with its unique shape and clean layout.

Dinner time

Except for the silver leaves, the day setting makes way for a table filled with glass, gold and brass accessories.

Fondant covered raspberry lime flavoured cakes, prices upon enquiry, from WINIFRED KRISTE CAKE.

Wedding cake

Contrast the flowers and trims on your cake table with strikingly tall cakes.

Organza gown, $3,500 to rent or $5,000 to buy, from FELINE WEDDING.

Night look

Modern and sophisticated, this strapless mermaid gown with full ruffled skirt keeps all eyes on you.
