A fashion model in China died during a routine breast enlargement operation.

According to The Daily Mail via Asian Town, Ting Ting decided to undergo surgery after being told during her consultation that she had so-called ‘small breast syndrome’ and small eyes.

The 25-year-old entered the operating theatre at 10.30am and had surgery on her eyelids using partial anaesthesia. She then underwent breast enhancement surgery with added anaesthesia. 

During the surgery, her blood pressure and pulse dropped. Doctors administered adrenaline but it was of no use. Ting Ting passed away thereafter.

A spokesman of the clinic confirmed that the death had been caused by the use of anaesthesia.

The hospital have said that they will bear full responsibility and offer some compensation for the model’s death.
