Condé Nast, the owners of Vogue, GQ and Vanity Fair (among many other media brands) have announced that they will be launching new lifestyle destinations in Singapore and Bangkok.

There’s exciting news for Asian fashionistas as Condé Nast announce the launch of a Vogue Café, Vogue Club and GQ Bar in Singapore. A Vogue Club will also debut in Bangkok later this year.

In Singapore, boasting a panoramic 360° terrace as well as a restaurant and lounge, the Vogue Club will be located 47 storeys up, on the top floors of the Singapore Land Tower skyscraper.

A GQ Bar and a Vogue Café will also appear in locations in the South-East Asian city state, set to be announced soon.

In Thailand, which has recently seen the launch of its own Vogue Thailand print edition, the Vogue Club is set to debut on the top floor of the 7-storey MahaNakhon CUBE retail complex, which will sit next to the MahaNakhon mixed use skyscraper. The famous David Collins design studio will create the space, located in the Sathorn-Narathiwas Rajanakarin-Silom business district of Bangkok.

Condé Nast Restaurants was formed by the publishing giant in 2010 in an effort to spread the company’s brands into physical locations around the world. A Dubai Vogue café and GQ bar are also set to open later this year. In addition a GQ bar in Istanbul will launch at the end of this month.

Vogue and GQ are not the only members of the fashion set building a restaurant empire; Italian designer Roberto Cavalli has recently opened a series of Cavalli Caffè locations in New Delhi, Milan, and Beirut. Gucci also has cafés in Tokyo, Florence, and Milan. – AFP RELAX NEWS
