From 23 October to 5 November, visitors will be transported into the poetic world of Hermès carrés, where constellations of colour and imagination bring each scarf’s story to life.
Curated by Cécile Pesce (Women’s Silk) and Christophe Goineau (Men’s Silk), the experience celebrates the artistry, craftsmanship and endless styling possibilities of the silk carré. Whether it’s Bottes Story, Pony Pit Stop, Carré Libre, or Please Hold the Line, every design is a universe of its own.

NEW: temper
Drawing in stars like Blackpink’s Lisa and Red Bull Racing driver Yuki Tsunoda, Temper is quickly becoming the dining spot everyone’s talking about in Tanjong Pagar. This new sensorial playground offers a winning combination of mood lighting, a well-curated selection of wines and cocktails, and a hearty menu that keeps people coming back. Highlights include the seafood platter ideal for sharing, the addictively seasoned Crispy Chicken Drumsticks (the perfect drinking snack), and a fresh Turbot that’s hard to forget. We couldn’t try every cocktail, but the Big Apple stands out—light, refreshing and just the right amount of boozy. To top it off, the lounge comes alive with DJ sets on selected nights; we even got some nostalgic throwback hits during dinner, making it the ideal hangout, especially for millennials.
temper. Wine Room & Lounge is located at 83 Neil Rd, #01-07, Mondrian, Hotel Lobby
POP LAND Pop-up (15 to 26 October)
Just when you thought the Pop Mart craze was over, POP LAND’s pop-up is coming to town! Marking its first-ever overseas pop-up experience, the event at Bugis+ Level 2 Atrium follows the massive success of POP LAND in Beijing, the world’s first POP MART theme park, and it’s finally making its way to Singapore.
Fans can look forward to themed photo spots featuring Crybaby, Twinkle Twinkle, and Labubu, along with exclusive POP LAND merchandise and collectibles. You’ll even get the chance to snag Mokoko, the adorable light pink Labubu from The Monsters series, to add to your collection.

NEW: Shelter by Reformd
With wellness becoming a bigger focus for many Singaporeans, it’s no surprise that cold immersions have been making waves lately. Enter Shelter by Reformd, a new 3,000 sq ft recovery space at One Raffles Link that offers a calming refuge right in the heart of the city. Inside, you’ll find a dedicated cold immersion area with pools that dip as low as 3°C, alongside a soothing magnesium salt pool heated between 35°C and 40°C — perfect for melting away muscle tension (and a personal favourite). If you prefer to sweat it out, there’s also a traditional dry sauna. The best part? You won’t need to worry about packing wet attire, as everything is provided for you. After your session, freshen up at the washup area stocked with Aesop products before heading back out into the city feeling completely renewed.
Shelter by Reformd is located at One Raffles Link, Citylink Mall, #01-01
NEW: Morning store at Takashimaya S.C.
Morning recently opened its newest outlet at Takashimaya S.C.. While they already have a space at New Bahru, this outlet is designed around flavour profiles and centres on the beautiful Morning Index, a thoughtful display that categorises coffees by flavour, body, and acidity. What we love about the Morning Index is that it makes it easier for customers to find a brew that truly suits their taste (because let’s be honest, everyone takes their coffee a little differently).
At the store, you’ll also get to sample different brews, a fun, hands-on way to find out what kind of coffee drinker you really are. And beyond the brews, you’ll also find adorable merch, sleek drinkware, and Morning’s coveted coffee machines—a must-have if you’re serious about your coffee setup at home.
Morning’s new outlet is located at Takashimaya S.C., B1-30A

You’ve probably heard of Fortuna Italian Restaurant, but did you know they’ve just opened a new spot a few doors down at Tanjong Pagar? Enter Fortuna Terrazza, an Amalfi-inspired café and brunch terrace by the team behind Fortuna Italian Trattoria.
Bringing the charm of the Amalfi Coast to Craig Road, the menu features delicious brunch dishes like their six Italian cheese toastie, crisp fried chicken, as well as Ricottamisu hotcakes, all served in a sunlit space with tiled archways and hand-painted ceramics.
Highlights we loved include the Caprese, with sweet tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil (best eaten with your hands), and the Aglio & Olio Benedict, a rosti-based twist on the classic Eggs Benedict with a unique Italian flavour profile.
Fortuna Terraza is located at 10 Craig Rd, Singapore 089670
Halloween Horror Nights 13 (26 September to 1 November)
October is here, and you know what that means: Halloween season is officially upon us. While the big day is still a few weeks away, the scares have already begun at Universal Studios Singapore’s annual Halloween Horror Nights.
Now in its 13th edition, the event is pulling out all the stops with some of its most thrilling haunted houses yet. Choose from four chilling experiences, including a Stranger Things-inspired house (spanning seasons 2, 3, and 4), The Unruly Immortals, a collaboration with Chinese entertainment powerhouse Yuewen, and Death Whisperer, a spine-tingling homage to the original Thai horror film. A standout for us? Built to Horror, a Singapore-inspired haunted house that hits a little too close to home, and is guaranteed to unnerve guests, especially the locals.
That’s not all. This year, Halloween Horror Nights teams up with Blumhouse (the studio behind M3GAN and The Purge) to bring an immersive Blumhouse Bar and a special projection-mapping experience at the castle.
Pro tip: snag express passes if you want a smoother, less hair-raising wait. The crowds can get intense, especially on weekends.
Halloween Horror Nights is located at Universal Studios Singapore
