There’s no such thing as a mid-year slump when July’s calendar is stacked with buzzy festivals of all sorts, exciting pop-ups and fresh exhibitions worth braving the heat for. This month, the annual Glow Festival by Prudential returns, while events like the Skechers Sundown Festival promise good vibes and music. But that’s not all. In July, you can expect more pop-ups by your favourite brands as well as other immersive installations popping up all over town that will keep you booked and busy for the rest of the month.

NEW: Singapore Oceanarium (from 24 July)
Resorts World Sentosa is finally opening the doors to the long-awaited Singapore Oceanarium. The brand-new space will welcome guests from July 24 onwards, and to celebrate the opening, a series of events and activities have been lined up for visitors.
From July 25 to 27, the Research and Learning Centre at the Singapore Oceanarium will host expert-led talks, hands-on workshops, and curated installations for those eager to learn more about ocean stewardship.
Guests can also look forward to the Singapore Oceanarium Insider Experience, which offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how the oceanarium operates.

Love and Deepspace Pop-Up (18 to 31 July)
Love and Deepspace is having its first, and only, pop-up in Southeast Asia. This ticket-free event is inspired by the game’s latest update, Version 4.0 “Witnessed by Deepspace”, which introduces a suite of new interactive features designed to deepen your emotional connection with the in-game characters.
You can look forward to photo opportunities with life-sized standees of your favourite characters like Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, Sylus, and Caleb. There’ll also be themed installations inspired by key story moments from Witnessed by Deepspace, plus interactive activities and giveaways where you might just win official merch or even a one-night stay at Hotel Ora at Resorts World Sentosa.

Arsenal vs AC Milan and Newcastle (23 and 27 July)
Arsenal is set to take centre stage in Singapore this July as part of their pre-season tour. Catch the action live at the National Stadium, where they’ll face AC Milan on July 23 and Newcastle on July 27. With top-tier talent on the pitch and the energy of a roaring crowd, the question is—who will come out on top?

Sentosa GrillFest (17 July to 10 August)
Sentosa GrillFest returns to the shores of Siloso Beach Sentosa from 17 July, offering savoury grub and an exciting lineup of experiences for you to indulge in. Happening every Friday to Sunday from 4pm to 10.30pm, this year’s edition is bigger and better than ever, with over 35 local and international brands spread across five flavour-packed zones.
For the first time, Sentosa GrillFest has teamed up with Offline Singapore to host Social Mixer Nights, so yes, there’s food and the chance to meet someone new. They will also be introducing new concepts into the mix, like the GrillHouse, which offers guests a chance to grill their own platter, so you can enjoy it at your own pace.
The second highlight at this year’s GrillFest is Marketplace, where you can handpick premium ingredients like top-quality meats, fresh local seafood, and pesticide-free veggies. What makes it extra special? Live grill stations where chefs cook your selections on the spot and carve up those premium cuts right in front of you. There’ll also be stations featuring fresh produce like mushrooms, seafood, and salad greens that are all locally farmed.

lululemon x Within Flagship Opening at Ngee Ann City (from 17 July)
lululemon’s first-ever flagship concept store in Southeast Asia has officially opened at Ngee Ann City and it’s more than just retail therapy. Spanning over 6,000 square feet, the space brings together mindful movement and lifestyle in one beautifully designed sanctuary. Think: one of the most extensive lululemon ranges in Singapore (from yoga to golf), plus Within, an in-store studio by wellness leader Betty Kong offering yoga and reformer classes.

Opening of On (from 12 July)
If you’re into running, walking, or just love a good sneaker moment, head to On’s first flagship store in Singapore, now open at Jewel Changi Airport. The 9,000-square-foot space brings the brand’s signature Dream On concept to life—think interactive displays showcasing its CloudTec® and Speedboard® tech, a sleek Magic Wall for fuss-free try-ons, and a curated lineup of performance footwear and apparel tailored for those who are always on the move.

Van Cleef & Arpels Perlee pop-up (28 June to 24 August)
Step into a world of sparkle and joy at Van Cleef & Arpels’ latest pop-up at ION Orchard, running from now till 24 August. The Maison is celebrating its iconic Perlée collection—known for those dainty golden beads and timeless charm—with fresh additions to the Perlée Couleurs line. At the pop-up, you’ll get the opportunity to have a closer look at the new pieces in a beautifully curated in-store experience.

Birkenstock new store opening
Birkenstock has just opened its first-ever concept store at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and it’s seriously worth stepping into. Unlike your usual stores, the all-new “Urban Birch Forest” is designed to feel like a calm, nature-inspired escape, complete with floor-to-ceiling birch lightboxes, real birch logs, moss, tree trunk stools, and even a hand-painted floor that looks like forest soil.
Most of all, you’ll find all the brand’s core favourites, like the premium 1774 collection, and you can also get early access to new drops and exclusives, plus styles for the little ones too.

Violet Oon’s newly revamped restaurant
Violet Oon’s outlet at ION Orchard has officially reopened with a fresh new look, an updated menu of signature classics, and the debut of the Violet Oon Kueh Collection (yes, there’s finally kueh on the menu!).
The new space features a main salon, three private dining rooms, and an upcoming indoor veranda designed to feel like a secret retreat. The retail area and remaining spaces are set to launch in Q3 2025.
As for the menu? Expect fan favourites like Ayam Buah Keluak and Beef Rendang, refreshed hits such as the Hainanese Pork Chop, and new heritage dishes from their Dempsey Hill outpost—including Gulai Nangka and Fuyong Hai Crab. The beloved Singapore High Tea set is also making a comeback, now served with handmade kueh like Ang Ku Kueh and Bika Ambon.

Casa Cicheti
The Cicheti Group has just opened its newest concept, Casa Cicheti, and it might be their most personal one yet. Nestled in a charming pre-war flat in Tiong Bahru, this cosy trattoria is all about going back to basics. Think hearty, no-fuss Italian food, warm hospitality, and a strong sense of community. The space feels like a home away from home, with interiors that nod to the neighbourhood’s unique mix of old-school charm and modern edge. The menu brings back familiar comfort with bold flavours and time-honoured techniques, all thoughtfully put together by Chef Lim Yew Aun. Highlights from the menu include the Burratina, a creamy, indulgent starter topped with chilli crunch that gives it just the right amount of kick, and if you’re a pizza lover, the Cinque Formaggi is a must-try. But our favourite has to be the Branzino. A deceptively simple grilled seabass that’s cooked to perfection and finished with a punchy bagna cauda and nutty brown butter.

Sentosa Sunset Watch Party (13 June to 30 August)
Planning a beach day this weekend? Stick around a little longer and catch the Sunset Watch Party—a simple, soulful way to wrap up your day by the sea. It’s exactly what it sounds like: no agenda, no distractions, just a group of strangers (and maybe new friends) pausing to watch the sun set.
There are very limited seats for the watch party, so we highly recommend that you reserve a slot to secure your spot before coming down.

Pop Air - Art is Inflatable (from 7 June)
The Balloon Museum is finally landing in Singapore this June — and yes, it’s as whimsical and mind-bending as it sounds.
Originally from Rome, this globally acclaimed immersive experience has popped up in cities around the world, and now it’s our turn to step into the surreal. Titled Pop-Air: Art Is Inflatable, the exhibition features over 17 installations by contemporary artists, all exploring the possibilities of one simple yet powerful element: air.
From towering balloon sculptures that swallow entire rooms to delicate, interactive pieces that invite you to play, pose, and dream a little bigger, this isn’t your average art show. As a matter of fact, this exhibition might just leave you wide-eyed and maybe even questioning what art can be.

Jurassic World: The Experience at Cloud Forest (from 29 May)
If you’ve ever dreamed of walking among dinosaurs, Jurassic World: The Experience is your chance to bring that fantasy to life. Opening 29 May at Gardens by the Bay’s Cloud Forest, this immersive adventure transforms the iconic conservatory into a prehistoric playground—complete with life-sized animatronic dinos nestled among real Jurassic-era plants. Think: an 8.5-metre-tall Brachiosaurus, a face-to-face T. rex encounter, and even a baby dino nursery you can interact with. There are 13 zones to explore—and yes, keep your eyes peeled for sneaky little Compys hiding in the greenery.

SUSHISAMBA’s 1st Anniversary (18 and 19 July)
SUSHISAMBA Singapore is officially turning one, and they’re pulling out all the stops for their anniversary bash. On 19 July, their hidden lounge SAMBAROOM, the lounge above the restaurant, is transforming into a full-blown Neon Jungle. Think: high-energy DJ sets, bold lights, head-turning décor, and cheeky little surprises throughout the night.
There’ll be curated cocktails, premium bottle packages, and of course, their signature Night Brunch at SUSHISAMBA, complete with all the bites you love, plus a Tomahawk live station amongst other free-flowing delights.

Toby’s Estate’s Coffee Omakase (19 and 20 July)
If you consider yourself a coffee connoisseur or simply love getting your caffeine fix, this one’s for you. Toby’s Estate is bringing its first coffee omakase experience to Singapore for two days only (19 and 20 July). With each session running for 45 minutes each, the experience gives coffee lovers a chance to look into the craft, complexity and stories behind every cup through a carefully curated flight of coffees, tasted side by side. The experience is hosted by Dan Bottesini, Queensland Brewers Cup Champion and one of Toby’s Estate’s coffee experts, of which each coffee presented is a premium expression, selected to showcase clarity, complexity and craftsmanship at the highest level.

Singapore Ballet Festival (18 to 20 July)
Singapore Ballet returns to the Drama Centre Theatre from 18 to 20 July with this year’s highly anticipated Ballet Festival. The event will feature three standout works, including Shadow’s Edge by renowned choreographer Ma Cong. The performance is a romantic and lyrical piece exploring connection and longing, whereas Evening Voices by Tim Rushton draws you into a shadowy, meditative world, set to the stirring vocals of the Ukrainian National Choir. The night ends on a high with Double Contrasts, a classic performance choreographed by the legendary Choo-San Goh, which was initially curated for The Washington Ballet.

CellarFiesta 2025 (11 to 13 July)
Back for its fourth edition, CellarFiesta is bigger, boozier, and more fun than ever. Happening from 11 to 13 July at Suntec City Convention Centre, the event will feature over 160 local and international brands, with more than 600 spirits, whiskies, wines, sakes, beers, and more available for sampling.
New this year is the Food and Beer Garden, where guests can kick back with great drinks and hearty grub. Entry is complimentary for anyone aged 18 and above, all you have to do is just sign up via the Cellar Rewards app to join the fun.

Skechers Sundown Festival (4 to 6 July)
The Skechers Sundown Festival is back for its 13th edition this July. Happening from July 4 to 6 at Haw Par Villa, the three-day festival is expected to draw 50,000 attendees with its stacked line-up of 40 regional and international acts like Taledrops, Shye, SKAIISYOURGOD, and Shigga Shay.
Besides the performances, what makes this year’s edition truly pop is Gaia—an immersive, sustainability-driven experience that aims to make this event Asia’s first carbon-negative, 100% plant-based music festival. Think climate-conscious talks, green-powered fringe activities, zero single-use plastics, and even the bazaar runs on clean energy. Entry into the festival grounds is ticketed, but once you’re in, you’re free to catch performances, workshops, exhibitions and talks.

POP MART Summer POP-Up (20 June to 13 July)

Wings of Art 2025 (24 June to 1 July 2025)
In celebration of SG60, Wings of Art 2025 will feature what’s likely the longest Barbie runway Singapore’s ever seen—over 60 metres long and lined with 1,060 Winged Barbies, each one a symbol of hope, imagination, and community spirit.
60 of these dolls have been custom-designed by local creatives—each representing their personal vision of hope and the SG60 spirit—while the rest were lovingly crafted by members of the public. You can even join in: book a crafting slot and decorate your own Winged Barbie. You also have the option to take your masterpiece home or donate it to the showcase—it’s all in support of the Singapore Red Cross’ Young Hearts Programme.
There’s also a 3-metre-tall wings sculpture made of recycled glass and crystal, a whimsical photo booth, and carnival games for you and your little ones.

Monkey Shoulder’s Cheeky Sessions (June to July)
Bored of the same ol’ parties? If you’re looking for a new reason to have a fun little night out with your friends, sans the planning, you’ll be glad to know that Monkey Shoulders is bringing back its coveted Cheeky Sessions. Happening in June and July (on selected nights), you can look forward to a bar-hopping adventure, as you’ll be guided through an exciting party experience hosted by Monkey Should ambassador, Brendan Khoo.
