BYD by 1826 IMM Lifestyle Hub (from 10 February)

Looking for a new spot to bring your furkid this weekend? BYD by 1826 has just opened at IMM, and it is probably not what you would expect. Blending cafe culture with car browsing, this pet-friendly concept on Level 3 of IMM invites you to enjoy a proper meal alongside your furry companion while checking out a lineup of BYD vehicles.

When you step in, you’re greeted by the BYD Sealion 7, which is not something you see every day at a cafe, before settling into plush, round sofas that are great for catch-ups, casual dates or even your pet playdates. Design-wise, the space leans minimal and understated, but generous natural light makes it an easy backdrop for the photo for the ‘Gram.

The menu is also worth exploring. Highlights include a crisp, satisfying rosti that pairs well with smoked salmon, and freshly fried salted egg fries that are dangerously moreish. Drinks are just as varied, spanning SevenDaze coffees, specialty beverages, teas, craft beers, house cocktails and mocktails. Our pick would have to be the Golden Cloud Coffee, made with banana milk and topped with espresso, which tastes exactly like a banana latte.

That being said, while the location of the cafe may feel like a trek for those in the east or north-east, it is worth considering if you are after something different, especially if you are planning to combine it with a quick outlet shopping run at IMM.

Cirque du Soleil: Kooza (6 February to 29 March)

Cirque du Soleil shows are always a spectacle, and this one is no different. Running from 6 February to 29 March at Bayfront Event Space, the production promises jaw-dropping moments that keep you on the edge of your seat, with talented artistes delivering one heart-racing act after another.

Expect a dazzling mix of high-stakes acrobatics, striking visuals and classic humour woven together seamlessly. Highlights include contortionists performing mind-bending routines and performers taking on gravity-defying stunts on the Wheel of Death.

Of course, the showcase wouldn’t be complete without CHAGEE. Fans will be glad to know the brand is also setting up an exclusive pop-up serving its full beverage menu, alongside merchandise previously available only in China, plus limited-edition plush charms that blend tea heritage with Singapore’s iconic Merlion.
