As the obsession with POP MART grows, so does its store. At Funan, POP MART has moved to a larger space, giving fans more room to browse and a bigger range of collectibles to choose from. The new store feels brighter and more open, which makes hunting for your favourite figurines even more fun.

You’ll find all the crowd-pleasers here. Think The Monsters’ Labubu, Skullpanda, and plenty of the newest releases. The festive-themed Twinkle Twinkle series is also on display, and it’s almost impossible to walk past without picking one up. With more shelves, more stock, and more variety, the upgraded POP MART Funan store is a must-visit for collectors or even anyone looking for a gift this festive season.

If your shelf of POP MART collectables is already full but your heart insists there’s room for more, this immersive exhibition is definitely worth visiting. Located at the National Museum of Singapore, the Skullpanda Cage-Uncage Showcase makes its international debut right here in Singapore, and it brings fans into the imaginative, slightly enigmatic world of one of POP MART’s most beloved characters.

Follow Skullpanda’s journey through six themes that mirror the contradictions of everyday life: Emotion, Fortune, Rules, Exploration, Life, and Direction, and admire all the visually striking sets that feel made for both introspection and your camera roll.

There are also Singapore-exclusive installations and site-specific activations dotted around the museum, and not to mention, there’s exhibition-exclusive merch you can’t get anywhere else, so be sure to pop by the gift shop.

NEW: The Sophia Label store

Local brand The Sophia Label has finally opened its first physical store at Raffles City after a decade, and it’s a lovely space. The store is designed to highlight the textures, materials, and craftsmanship the label is known for, so you can actually feel and try everything in person, and browse through the different bags from their other collections as well.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the brand also launched a new Signature Pocket Denim Tote Bag. It’s $98 and part of their Signature Pocket Series, but this time in a classic denim finish. The bag is practical without looking too serious. It comes with double zip compartments, an adjustable buckle strap, and a zipped back pocket for things you need to grab quickly. Inside, there are elasticated sections and another zip compartment to keep everything neat, and it even fits a 15-inch laptop, which makes it great for work or weekend errands.

The Sophia Label is located at Raffles City Shopping Centre, 252 North Bridge Road, #03-27, Singapore 179103

NEW: Fat Prince menu

Credit: Fat Prince

If you remember The Prince, you’ll be happy to know it’s back as Fat Prince, and the vibe is very much “come hungry, leave happy.” The restaurant has reopened with a refreshed menu and a solid line-up of cocktails, including full, half, and zero-proof options depending on what you’re in the mood for.

The food leans into Middle Eastern comfort with a touch of Mediterranean freshness, and it’s perfect for sharing. We tried the “Let The Chef Decide” dinner menu, which comes with six courses chosen by the kitchen. You get a mix of new dishes and familiar favourites like the Moroccan Chicken Tagine and Lamb Porterhouse, along with lighter bites like their pillowy soft bread that comes with specially made dips that keep things balanced.

But, whatever you do, don’t skip dessert. Inspired by the viral Dubai Chocolate, their Dubai Chocolate Knafeh is a must. It’s crispy, melty, chocolatey, and served with pistachio ice cream, which hits the right spot.

The Fat Prince is located at 48 Peck Seah St, Singapore 079317

Hot Bodies: A Heatwear Exhibition (6 to 28 December)

Hot Bodies is a new interactive exhibition that explores the innovative ways fashion and apparel can radically reinvent how human bodies cope with rising heat. Instead of fighting the sun, the showcase explores what fashion could look like if we embraced it which is quite a fitting perspective for a nation that knows humidity all too well.

Beyond its experimental Heatwear pieces, the exhibition includes a shoppable Emporium with handheld fans, sunstraps, UV indicators, and collaborations with creatives like Jaimus Tailor, Jean Jullien, and TANCHEN Studio. On top of that, there’s also a Sunscreen Bar featuring over 80 products to test, plus a Hydration Bar serving tailored electrolyte drinks.
