Waterbomb Singapore (30 to 31 August) 

What better way to close out the month than with a splashing good time at Waterbomb Singapore? This year’s edition promises an electrifying line-up and endless energy across the weekend.

Fan favourites Team Bebe return to Singapore, bringing their signature high-octane performances, while some of the biggest names in K-pop and K-hip-hop are set to dominate the stage like 2NE1, Taemin, Minho of SHINee, and Lee Young-ji. Rising acts like singer-songwriter Whylucas will also be making waves, serenading the crowd with his much-loved tracks.

But Waterbomb isn’t just about the music—it’s a full-on summer festival experience. Expect water cannons, playful splash zones, and high-energy water fights to keep you cool as you dance the night away.

Virgin Active Grid Games (30 August) 

Virgin Active members, this one’s for you. If you’ve ever wanted to put your fitness to the test and see just how far you can push yourself, here’s your chance. On 30 August, Virgin Active will be hosting its highly anticipated Grid Games competition at Tanjong Pagar.

This team-based challenge is designed to push your strength, endurance, and grit to the next level. Lululemon’s Community Run (31 August)

Looking for a new community run to join this week? Lululemon has you covered. On Sunday, 31 August, at 7.30am, the brand is hosting an inclusive community run designed for all paces and abilities.

Expect more than just a jog—participants will be supported with guided pace groups, along with warm-ups and cooldowns to help you get the most out of the experience. The run kicks off from Lululemon’s Raffles City store, where you’ll set out on a scenic urban route through the heart of Singapore in the early morning calm.

Brewnanza Fest 2025 (29 to 31 August)

Singapore’s biggest craft beer festival is back. From 29 to 31 August 2025, Brewnanza Fest will be taking over Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre with more than 100 craft beers from world-class breweries, exclusive festival-only brews, and epic food options from favourites like MEOW Barbecue, Black Tap, Smokey’s BBQ, and Papi’s Tacos.

Besides drinks, you can also expect live sets from indie bands, regional DJs, and party collectives, plus brewing masterclasses for those who want a peek behind the scenes.

Singapore Night Festival (22 August to 6 September)

The annual Singapore Night Festival makes its return this August, and as part of its 16th edition, the event will feature over 80 immersive and innovative experiences across the Bras Basah.Bugis (BBB) precinct. Happening from 22 August to 6 September, this year’s edition is themed Island Nights and it’s in honour of Singapore’s 60th birthday. Highlights from this year’s festival include Sky Castle by Australian art and technology studio ENESS – an enchanting, interactive sound and light installation, that boasts a vibrant cluster of inflatable arches that form a colourful symphony located at Cathay Green; Kampong Chill, an artwork by Yok & Sheryo, a satirical piece that champions inefficiency as an art form, elevates daydreaming to a cultural practice, and frames sitting still as a revolutionary act; as well as other projection mapping artworks, performances and programmes.

Retro District by RESURRACK (22 August to 21 September)

In conjunction with this year’s Singapore Night Festival, Bugis Town lights up once again with the highly anticipated Bugis Night Lights, now in its fourth edition and running till 21 September 2025. This annual campaign transforms the neighbourhood into a buzzing playground, and this year’s highlight is the Retro District by RESURRACK — a throwback to the colourful energy of the ’80s. Expect live performances by homegrown talents, curated vintage treasures from seasoned collectors and thrift stores, and a lineup of activity stations where you can get hair tinsel makeovers, henna tattoos, live caricatures, tarot readings and even spontaneous poetry sessions. 

While you’re soaking in the retro fun, make a detour to Bugis+ for Waves of Time: Splash On Our Skyline by neon artist Maegzter. This retro-futuristic light installation pays homage to Singapore’s maritime heritage with sweeping wave motifs and vibrant neon displays.

Whisky Library Experience at The Vagabond Club

Love whisky? This might just be right up your alley. The Vagabond Club presents the Whisky Library Experience, a luxurious showcase of over 1,000 rare and premium whiskies from around the world. CÉ LA VI Singapore has unveiled its reimagined restaurant atop the Marina Bay Sands towers, officially reopening on 26 June 2025. The refreshed space features a blend of indoor and outdoor zones, an expanded private dining room, and a striking bar designed to spotlight cocktails as much as conversation.

The transformation comes with a revitalised menu that puts a modern spin on Asian cuisine, layered with Southeast Asian influences and global flair. Highlights include starters like the savoury A4 Miyazaki Beef Tataki, the punchy Miso Chilean Seabass with Szechuan green chilli sauce, and crisp Cereal-Crusted Tiger Prawns, alongside indulgent desserts such as the Dulce Miso Toffee. To complete the experience, the new cocktail programme delivers standout pours, from the tropical-inspired Silent Gold margarita twist to a sophisticated reinterpretation of the White Negroni.

Cable Car Sky Dining by Mathew Leong (from 16 August)

If you’re looking to take date night to new heights (literally), this cable car dining experience might just be it. In collaboration with Chef Mathew Leong, Asia’s top-performing chef at Bocuse d’Or 2025, guests can indulge in a specially curated three-course menu that blends his signature Nordic flavours with an Asian twist. On the menu: a kombu-cured tuna chutoro for starters, an open-fire grilled Japanese wagyu sirloin that’s cooked to perfection for the main, and a scoop of oolong tea milk ice cream to finish — served at Arbora Café @ Mount Faber Peak. The best part? You’ll enjoy your starter and main in the privacy of your own cable car, gliding through two scenic rounds (about an hour) with panoramic views of the Southern waterfront, before wrapping up with dessert and drinks at The Mirabilis Bar @ Mount Faber Peak.

Singapop! ArtScience Museum’s SG60 exhibition (2 August to 28 December)

In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, the ArtScience Museum presents SingaPop! 60 Years of Singapore Pop Culture—a vibrant multimedia exhibition that showcases the nation’s cultural transformation.

From the rise of Singlish and beloved hawker fare to iconic music, films, fashion trends, and National Day celebrations, this immersive exhibition captures everything that makes Singapore unique and unconditionally home. Visitors can also explore milestones in local pop culture, featuring legendary figures like Dick Lee, Kit Chan, and Rahimah Rahim.

Spanning across five thematic chapters, SingaPop! invites audiences of all ages to journey through time, from the swinging ‘60s to the digital 2020s, and celebrate six decades of creativity, identity, and expression. The Singapop! exhibition premieres on 2 August and runs until 28 December 2025.

In addition, Her World will be included in SingaStories, with a special section showcasing decades of iconic covers and the remarkable women who have graced them over the years. Don’t miss out on the wave of nostalgia and a look at Singapore’s transformation, all happening at Singapop!

Singapop! 60 Years of Singapore Pop Culture exhibition will be held at the ArtScience Museum.

SAM Contemporaries 2: How To Dream Worlds (1 August to 16 November)

The Singapore Art Museum presents SAM Contemporaries 2: How To Dream Worlds — an exhibition that explores the act of dreaming as a form of resistance, speculation, and reimagination. Featuring works by six emerging Singaporean artists, the showcase invites audiences to reflect on the uncertainties of the present.

Spanning from 1 August to 16 November, the exhibition features a diverse mix of installations, moving images and more. Highlights include the use of wild lalang to question systems of control, and playful reinterpretations of nasi goreng as a way to unpack complexities.

SAM Contemporaries 2: How To Dream Worlds will be held at Gallery 3, Level 3, SAM at Tanjong Pagar Distripark.

Dialed in by Common Man Coffee Roasters (2 August to 30 September)

Coffee lovers, you’re in for a treat as Common Man Coffee Roasters (CMCR) rolls out a series of vibrant community activities rooted in coffee culture.

Kicking off the festivities, CMCR’s popular weekend pop-up market, the Chin Swee Neighbourhood Club, returns on 2 to 3 August with free entry. Expect a curated mix of home and living treats, viral F&B favourites like Eat My Curry Bun, and hands-on craft workshops such as artisanal coffee-making and fabric dyeing.

On 3 and 17 August, join the lululemon Singapore Run Club editions, ending with a refreshing taste of CMCR’s new seasonal matcha beverages at lululemon Raffles City—more details on the second edition to come.

Singapore Oceanarium

Resorts World Sentosa is finally opening the doors to the long-awaited Singapore Oceanarium. The brand-new space will welcome guests from July 24 onwards, and to celebrate the opening, a series of events and activities have been lined up for visitors.

Guests can also look forward to the Singapore Oceanarium Insider Experience, which offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how the oceanarium operates.

Sentosa Sunset Watch Party (13 June to 30 August) 

Planning a beach day this weekend? Stick around a little longer and catch the Sunset Watch Party—a simple, soulful way to wrap up your day by the sea. It’s exactly what it sounds like: no agenda, no distractions, just a group of strangers (and maybe new friends) pausing to watch the sun set. 

There are very limited seats for the watch party, so we highly recommend that you reserve a slot to secure your spot before coming down.

Pop Toy Show Singapore 2025 (22 to 24 August) 

Can’t get enough of your favourite collectibles? Get ready, because Pop Toy Show Singapore is back from 22 to 24 August. Happening at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, the three-day event promises exclusive product drops, fan-favourite activations, and plenty of immersive experiences—all under one roof.

Just when you thought the SG60 buzz had faded, Siglap is keeping the celebrations alive with its very own one-day-only block party. The neighbourhood will be buzzing with live tunes by local DJs, plus a special grilling session by Wicked Good Burgers. Along the trail, you’ll find handmade jewellery and a soft soldering workshop, as well as a garage sale and flash portraits. Foodies can dig into pani puri and Yada Pav sliders from Masalaa Bar or head to Next Door Spanish Cafe $10 sangria and $5 paella and free churros when you grab a G&T. Somewhere Out There Festival (16 August)

Somewhere Out There Festival is landing at Fort Canning Park on 16 August 2025, and it’s set to be a dreamy celebration of music, art, and community under the open sky. As part of the festivities, Soho House is hosting HOMEGROWN: A Soho House Session, a two-hour gathering inside the festival’s dedicated tent, designed to bring Singapore’s creative souls together for connection, conversation, and culture.

Across the festival grounds, guests will also find three beautifully curated stages spotlighting homegrown, regional, and international talent — each one a unique celebration of sound, spirit, and self. Aside from the activities, guests will also be treated to a special surprise performance from one of Singapore’s most iconic artists.

Happening from 7 to 17 August 2025 at the Visual Arts Centre, this event features free public panel talks with seasoned runners and health experts, including Dr Joshua Li, specialist sports physician and national triathlete. PASAR by Art Again is a unique exhibition-meets-marketplace showcasing artworks from the 1960s to the 2000s, drawn from 10 private collections. The curated exhibition-marketplace explores the idea of trade and exchange beyond mere transaction — delving into themes of produce, commerce, and the intricate mazes that define marketplaces.

Running from 8 to 17 August 2025, all featured artworks will be available for purchase, with prices ranging from $500 to $26,000.

Sentosa GrillFest (17 July to 10 August)

Sentosa GrillFest returns to the shores of Siloso Beach Sentosa from 17 July, offering savoury grub and an exciting lineup of experiences for you to indulge in. Happening every Friday to Sunday from 4pm to 10.30pm, this year’s edition is bigger and better than ever, with over 35 local and international brands spread across five flavour-packed zones.

For the first time, Sentosa GrillFest has teamed up with Offline Singapore to host Social Mixer Nights, so yes, there’s food and the chance to meet someone new. They will also be introducing new concepts into the mix, like the GrillHouse, which offers guests a chance to grill their own platter, so you can enjoy it at your own pace. 

The second highlight at this year’s GrillFest is Marketplace, where you can handpick premium ingredients like top-quality meats, fresh local seafood, and pesticide-free veggies. In celebration of SG60, the National Museum of Singapore is opening its first-ever permanent gallery — the newly transformed Shaw Foundation Glass Rotunda — featuring Singapore Odyssea: A Journey Through Time, an immersive multi-sensorial experience.

Opening on 8 August 2025, Singapore Odyssea takes visitors on a captivating journey through key moments in Singapore’s history and exploring how the sea has shaped the nation’s identity and present.

The exhibition introduces innovative features including RFID-enabled wristbands for a personalised interactive experience, a dynamic changing seascape, animated historical dioramas.Through a fusion of light, art, and interactive storytelling, the gallery offers an unforgettable experience that lets you step into Singapore’s maritime heritage firsthand.

The Singapore Odyssea: A Journey Through Time will be held at the National Museum of Singapore.

Thailand Week 2025

Get ready for a vibrant showcase of Thai culture, design, and food as Thailand Week 2025 makes its way to Singapore. Taking place from 31 July to 3 August, this free-entry event brings together over 50 Thai brands under one roof, offering an immersive experience of heritage craftsmanship, sustainable fashion, artisanal lifestyle products, and more.

Beyond lifestyle finds, the event also caters to pet lovers with a range of pet-friendly products.
