Opening of 2nd STREET Singapore (from 29 April)

2nd STREET Singapore is officially opening its doors this Tuesday, 29 April. After months of anticipation, Japan’s largest secondhand fashion store will be taking over Basement 1 of 313@Somerset, transforming it into a shopping haven for anyone on the hunt for great deals on preloved apparel, accessories, handbags, and even sneakers. Tulipmania (17 April to 12 May)

Tulips are in full bloom this season at Gardens by the Bay. Originating from Türkiye, these vibrant flowers set the stage for an immersive exhibition that transports you to the heart of the country, complete with Turkish-inspired décor and replicas of iconic landmarks like the legendary Trojan Horse and Göbekli Tepe — all set against a stunning backdrop of hundreds of thousands of tulips. Among the exotic varieties you’ll spot are the Tulipa ‘Fire Wings’, a striking lily-flowered tulip with goblet-shaped blooms and pointed, recurved tepals; the Tulipa acuminata, also known as the Istanbul tulip; Tulipa ‘Spryng Break’, a triumph tulip that opens in creamy white with flickers of reddish-pink flames; and Tulipa ‘Striped Crown’, a bi-coloured coronet tulip known for its unique red and yellow speckled and striped petals.

Curious Worlds at ArtScience Museum (25 April to 25 May)

Running from 25 April to 25 May 2025, the month-long programme invites visitors to explore the wonders of the human brain, the future of adaptive fashion, and the beauty of the natural world—all through the lens of science, art, and innovation.

Curious Worlds ties in with the museum’s current exhibitions, Mirror Mirror: Journey Into the Mind and Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses, and expands on their themes through a packed lineup of installations, pop-ups, and thought-provoking activities. You’ll journey across three key themes—neuroscience and neuropsychology, adaptive fashion and assistive technology, and biodiversity and natural history.

The High Table x Chef Daniele Sperindio (April to June)

Chef Daniele Sperindio—yes, the culinary force behind Art di Daniele Sperindio, which earned a Michelin star three years in a row—is back with something new. While he’s in the midst of re-opening his beloved rooftop restaurant at a new home, he’s also cooking up something exciting at HighHouse.

For three months only, the neo-Italian chef is teaming up with the buzzy venue for a collaboration menu that’s available at both lunch and dinner. Expect eight exclusive dishes that reflect Daniele’s signature style: deeply Italian, but playful, and this time, spiked with nods to local flavours.

From a refreshing chilled somen in watermelon rind broth and vegan fish sauce to a cheeky cheese waffle with artichoke aioli and bresaola, the new menu is a flavour-packed way to experience the dishes Chef Daniele is known for.

NOVA Time Vault (every Thursday)

NOVA Singapore is set to launch NTV – NOVA Time Vault, a new themed night centred around 90s & 2000s anthems. Kicking off its first edition with MR J and Fantastic Dinosaur on the decks, expect a high-energy throwback party packed with hits from Britney Spears to the Backstreet Boys and everything in between. NTV will be your weekly nostalgia fix, happening every Thursday night at NOVA.

Van Gogh and Gustav Klimt’s Immersive Exhibition (22 January to 30 April)

Potterheads, this one’s for you! The long-awaited Harry Potter: Visions of Magic interactive art exhibition will be opening its doors this Friday, 22 November. At the exhibition, fans will be treated to 10 exciting and immersive spaces that will transport you to the wizarding world of magic. Inspired by some of the most iconic scenes from Harry Potter including two never-before-seen environments, like The Chamber of Secrets and The Trap Door. Cast your spells with your interactive wands and watch as the world of magic unravels before you. At the end of exhibit, be sure to swing by the retail store to grab some Harry Potter merch like their mystery wand boxes, or head straight to the Butterbeer bar to grab a cold one before ending your experience.

PetEXPO (25 to 27 April)

Night at Orchard is set to return to town from 25 to 27 April—and this time, it’s bigger and better than ever. Sunda Festival (17 to 19 April)

Singapore’s first-ever camping music and arts festival is back—and it’s bigger, bolder, and more immersive than ever. Taking over MDLR and Sarimbun Scout Camp this Easter weekend, the festival promises good vibes all around, with an eclectic lineup of over 30 DJs and live acts spanning disco, techno, soul, hip-hop, and R&B to keep you grooving from sunrise to sundown.

But it’s not just about the music. This year’s edition is packed with feel-good experiences for all ages—from family-friendly activities like a Keen-sponsored Easter Scavenger Hunt and paracord crafting with arts collective PLAY!, to wellness sessions like qi gong, cold immersion with Wild Pearl and Tundra, and movement meditation.

WICKED The Musical Gala Night (19 March to 27 April)

Award-winning musical, WICKED, returns to the Sands Theatre this March. For the unacquainted, WICKED tells the story of what happened long before Dorothy dropped in, when two other young women meet in the land of Oz. One born with emerald-green skin is smart, fiery, misunderstood and possesses an extraordinary talent. The other is bubbly, blonde, ambitious and exceptionally popular. They become rivals, then friends…until the world decides to call one “good” and the other one “wicked”. Kitchen Takeover by Straits Club (19 to 20 April)

You’ve probably heard of Straits Club and their cult-favourite Boneless Berempah Chicken Nasi Lemak. But here’s something you might not know: they’re teaming up with The Projector this Easter weekend for a flea market like no other.

Expect local DJs and an offbeat curation of stalls featuring retro football kits, cheeky artworks, unique perfumes, thrift treasures—and yes, even a tattoo artist on-site. Saturday night brings on the Supper Club vibes from 5:30PM to 10:30PM, as DJ duo Teenage Pop serves up nostalgic sing-along bops while Straits Club dishes out their signature crispy, spice-loaded plates. Come Sunday, you can expect an Easter Tea Dance from 1:00PM to 4:00PM, featuring a pillow-soft DJ set by Secret Pals, a Singapore-based Filipino project known for their sultry soundscapes.

Candlelight: Tribute to Taylor Swift on Strings (16 April)

Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s Easter Eggs-travaganza (15 March to 20 April)

Ahead of the Easter celebrations, Mandai Wildlife Reserve returns with its annual Easter Eggs-travaganza that will be taking over Bird Paradise from 15 March to 20 April. Thai Supermarket’s Songkran Celebration (12 to 13 April)

Songkran Festival 2025 (15 March to 15 April)

In celebration of Thai New Year’s national holiday, Downtown East is bringing Songkran to you for a month-long celebration like no other. If you’re up for an unforgettable weekend, make sure to swing by on 22 March (6pm to 9pm) for an electrifying performance by Tachaya Prathumwan—better known as ‘Keng’ (Thai: เก่ง) who will be lighting up the stage at Wild Wild Wet (WWW).

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Beyond the splashes at WWW, you’ll get to experience traditional Thai dance performances and the different Muay Thai showcases, adding a touch of culture to the festivities.

Coach has just launched an immersive pop-up inspired by the house’s iconic Tabby silhouette, at ION Orchard. Running from 8 March to 10 April, the event transports you into the imaginative and playful world of Coach with features including a larger-than-life Tabby bag installation as well as bespoke Tabby customisation by local artists Tiffany Lovage and Aeropalmics with any purchase. Those visiting the pop-up will get complimentary Coach Puffy stickers while those who sign up as a Coach Insider can enjoy a limited-edition Tabby popsicle. The Music Run (5 April)

If music keeps you going on your runs, then The Music Run on 5 April is right up your alley.
