For the uninitiated, a 2-in-1 notebook has the standard functions of a laptop coupled with the usability of a tablet. This one from HP is super sleek – the thinnest x360 the company has ever made. It comes with USB Type-C ports, which supposedly allow the fastest data transfer, display support and charging. And with advanced processing capabilities, it can support your heavy multitasking with many tabs open.

Listen to your favourite music without annoying distractions from your surroundings? Yes, please – the Sony MDR-1000X has key features like active noise cancellation and Personal NC Optimiser, which means the headphones analyse your personal characteristics and wearing style, then optimise sound for you. The wireless headphones also boast a Quick Attention function, so you can instantly decrease music volume just by placing one hand over the housing, and talk without taking your headphones off.

When it comes to smartphones, iPhone may be the first name that comes to mind, but perhaps it’s also worth considering a reliable mid-range smartphone. The OnePlus 3T runs on an OxygenOS, so users get a range of customisation options on top of Android’s core functions. It also comes with Dash Charge, which supposedly allows your phone to have enough power for the day with a quick 30-minute charge.

It seems the virtual reality craze is not dying down anytime soon, and the closest we can get to experiencing this cool concept is with a camera that gives us a breathtaking sense of presence. The Ricoh Theta S is the third generation of Ricoh’s 360-degree shooting camera, and promises to give even higher quality and performance. It has functions such as HD Live streaming and Live View, which allows you to use the dedicated smartphone app to check the exposure and white balance while shooting. And hurrah, you can also shoot 360-degree videos at full frame rate.

Stay on top of your photo game with the Nikon D5, touted as a spectacularly innovative product that changes the way you shoot.
