National Day is right around the corner and while it falls on a Tuesday, you can still get the party started over the weekends with these activities. This time 'round, you can expect to see celebs like Jackson Wang who will be making his appearance at Marquee this Saturday for his Team Wang records (Human Remix). Alternatively, you can also pop by the latest Zalora x Adidas pop-up over at Bugis Junction which will be open for a limited period of time, or try the world's first random cocktail generator at Ju95.

My Community Festival is back for the third time this year! Happening from 5 to 21 August, the festival is themed My Home Sweet Home, and it explores the various facets of our home in Singapore, of which festival-goers will have exclusive access to the private spaces of the many communities, including their homes, workplaces, places of worship, and communal spaces.

As part of the festival, guests can attend workshops and thought-provoking tours that allow visitors to discover more about the area’s history and uncover hidden gems. More specifically, festival-goers can look forward to trying new foods, exploring our offshore islands, discovering a new side of Singapore after sunset, just to name a few.

Within its signature Stardust Cabin, here you can expect a new menu that boasts a wide spread of contemporary Asian dishes, all while surrounded by a spectacular panoramic view of Harbourfront and Sentosa Island at 100m above sea level. During the 60-minute experience, you will be served dishes like Teriyaki Glazed Unagi, Slow-Roasted Lamb Loin, and Oven-Baked Lobster Tom Yum Goong.

However, the four-course menu will only be available for a limited period of time, so if you're planning to surprise your boo with a dinner date this month, we suggest that you make your booking asap.

Meet Jackson Wang at Team Wang (Human Remix) party at Marquee Singapore this weekend

Jackson Wang is coming to Singapore this August!

In partnership with Singapore Tourism Board, the singer will be venturing around Singapore to film a series of travel vlogs from 2 to 10 August 2022. But that's not all, in fact, Jackson will also be hosting a special TEAM WANG records showcase at Marquee on Saturday, 6 August and he will be the first international act to host a party at the renowned nightclub since its opening in 2019.

The Team Wang (Human Remix) event will be held at Marquee Singapore, located at 2 Bayfront Avenue B1-67, Galleria Level, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, 018972. 

Shop at the Zalora x Adidas: The Supermart Pop-Up store at Bugis Junction

From now till 12 August, Zalora and Adidas have teamed up to present its very first pop-up that's located at Bugis Junction. Titled 'The Supermart', you can expect to see an exclusive Adidas range, including Adidas Sportswear and Adidas Originals, over 90 SKUs which include footwear, apparel and accessories for men and women from the three-stripe brand.

What's unique about this shopping experience, however, is that shoppers can scan the QR code on each product and purchase them on the Zalora app itself, or they can even shop for their items over at the counter where you'll be presented with an iPad, where you can order you items and have it shipped to your doorstep.

On top of that, shoppers will also receive a gift-with-purchase (GWP) cleverly conceptualized in collaboration with three talented local artists. Hoon Jialing (@jaeyyelle) , Eman Raharno Jeman (@clogtwo) and Tiffany Tan (@lovage).

The Supermart Pop-up is located at Bugis Junction, #02-10B, from 3rd to 12th August. 

Party with a cause at Turf Club Road

In conjunction with Yes You and Life On Fast Forward, expect to groove to your favourite house grooves at this Postalcode Popup Party that will be held from 4pm to 10pm. Indulge in some mouthwatering bar bites, or enjoy some tipples while you party the day away. Moreover, ticket sales for the event will also be contributed to the Lighthouse Club which is a charity for construction workers.
