The eagerly anticipated music festival, Where Music Takes Over, will be kicking things off this weekend with some of your favourite acts. On Saturday, Chinese superstar Cai Xukun will be making his debut in Singapore as part of his world tour, while award-winning Taiwanese singer, David Tao takes centre stage at Marina Bay Sands on the 16th. But that's not all, as part of the festival, you can also look forward to an exciting lineup of performances from around the world, which includes the likes of The 1975, Ellie Goulding, J Balvin, Sabrina Carpenter, RINI, The Strokes and more.
In fact, this weekend will also be your last chance to check out the pop-up BTS LEGO experience over at Orchard Road. Here, BTS ARMY will be treated to an immersive experience where you can get up close to the South Korean boy band in LEGO minifigure form, snap photos against the iconic scenes from the “Dynamite” music video, such as the vibrant donut shop, ice cream truck and record store, and stand a chance to win exclusive prizes.

Catch show-stopping music concerts at Where Music Takes Over Festival
Starting this weekend, Marina Bay Sands will play host to a multi-genre Music Festival featuring electrifying performances from all around the world. From 15 July onwards, catch some of the most eagerly anticipated live acts like Cai Xukun who will be making his debut in Singapore as part of his Kun 2023 Maze World Tour, while six-time Golden Melody Award winner, David Tao, returns for a spectacular performance at Marina Bay Sands on the 16th of July. Melbourne-raised artist RINI will also be bringing his new tour to Asia and is set to perform in Singapore at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, before The 1975 takes on two sold-out shows on the 18th and 19th. Other headlining acts that will be performing at the festival include Miyavi, Sabrina Carpenter, J Balvin, Ellie Goulding and The Strokes.

Fans of the Stranger Things franchise, this one’s for you. Netflix has joined forces with Singapore’s Mighty Jaxx to offer an interactive experience like no other. Titled ‘Stranger Things – The Encounter: Singapore’, the pop-up will be located at Bugis+ starting 30 June to 1 October.
In this perilous adventure into the upside down, here you’ll find seven rooms dedicated to the fantasy world shown in the series including Joyce’s House, Hellfire Club, Palace Arcade, Starcourt Mall, Upside Down, The Lab, and the eerie Creel House. As part of the interactive experience, you can also collect digital memorabilia from the Stranger Things universe at the pop-up, which in turn, can be used to customise your own digital avatar which you can then have printed on a t-shirt or tote bag.
To end the experience on a high note, be sure to swing by the Stranger Things Visitor Center where you’ll find Stranger Things inspired refreshments and merchandise at the ‘Starcourt Mall’.
