The much-awaited Good Friday long weekend is coming real soon. But who says you have to go on a vacay when the party is brought to your doorstep? Mark your calendars: Artbox Singapore, the renowned pop-up market from Bangkok, will be happening from April 14 to 16 and April 21 to 23, 3pm to 11pm.

You can look forward to more than 500 international vendors housed in signature shipping containers at the free-admission event, complete with super dreamy fairy lights. It’s the perfect time to go shopping, satisfy your tastebuds and just chill in the #hipster vibes.

A beer garden, chill-out hammocks, free tattoos and live performances are some of the highlights of the first installation of Artbox Asia. It’s hard not to get excited just looking at the floor plan showing rows and rows of stalls and a massive dining area at Bayfront Event Space, beside Marina Bay Sands. Artbox Singapore covers 50,000 sq ft of floor space, roughly the size of a football field.

You’ll be pleased to know that the vendor and programme lineup will be different for this weekend and the next, so you know what to do if you’re #fomo.

Here are some of the fashion and food vendors you must not miss:

Their gorgeous blue pieces are to-dye-for (get it?). We can never have enough of such pieces for our summer that’s all-year round.

Pins are an ultra fuss-free way of spicing up your #OOTDs – they add a much-needed dose of character to, say, a plain denim jacket. Switch them up and your friends wouldn’t even realise you repeated your outfit.

The Talad Drink

We’re always up for a refreshing Instagram-worthy drink, no? Just look those gorgeous swirls of colour. You can customise your drink with up to three flavours, such as butterfly pea flowers and passionfruit extract.

Tio Smoke

Here’s another unqiue food item #forthegram. Harness the power of liquid nitrogen with this dragon’s breath candy, and get a kick out of breathing smoke. Or as they put it, tio smoke gao gao.

Chewbacorn

We sure could do with some fresh corn baked under tantalising layers of cheese. And not forgetting tortilla chips and sauce!
