Squid Game Season 2: Full cast includes T.O.P, Jo Yu-ri, and more

Netflix has just announced the full star-studded cast of Squid Game season two, with eight new actors joining the series

Netflix has officially unveiled the full cast lineup for the highly-anticipated second season of the sensational series Squid Game, which became a global hit when it first aired in 2021.

The new cast members include actress Park Gyu-young (Sweet Home), Iz*One's Jo Yu-ri, Choi Seung-hyun, also known as Big Bang's T.O.P (Tazza: The Hidden Card and Commitment), veteran actress Kang Ae-sim (Move to Heaven), actor Lee David (The Fortress and Svaha: The Sixth Finger), actor Lee Jin-uk (Miss Granny and Sweet Home), rising actor Roh Jae-won (Missing Yoon and Ditto), and actress Won Ji-an (D.P.).

They join fellow newcomers and popular actors Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon and Yang Dong-geun, who were announced to be joining the season at Netflix’s Tudum fan event earlier in June.

Original cast members Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byun-hun, Hwang Jun-ho and Gong Yoo will also return to the series.

Series creator, director and executive producer Hwang Dong-hyuk is set to helm every episode of season two.

This week, the cast members and showrunners gathered for their first table read (pictured below), with production slated to begin on season two later this year.

Squid Game premiered on Netflix in September 2021, and quickly became a global phenomenon. The series clocked over 2 billion viewing hours in its first 13 weeks. It remains the most-watched series ever on Netflix. The series won six Emmys in 2022, including outstanding lead actor in a drama series for Lee Jung-jae and outstanding directing for a drama series for Hwang Dong-hyuk.
