National Day isn’t just about fireworks and red-and-white outfits, it’s also one of the best times of the year to indulge in limited-time menus inspired by Singapore’s favourite flavours.

Whether you’re craving a nostalgic hawker classic with a twist, a luxurious afternoon tea or cocktails that pay tribute to the Lion City’s heritage, these restaurants and bars are serving up festive specials that are only available for a limited time.

Tanglin Cookhouse

Tanglin Cookhouse is bringing back the flavours of heritage favourite Ka-Soh with a limited-time collaboration. Dig into its iconic Signature Fish Noodle Soup ($18++) and crispy Prawn Paste Chicken Mid Wings ($15++ for eight), or enjoy both as part of a three-course set for two from $58++. The collaboration runs until 31 August.

Tim Ho Wan

Tim Ho Wan is giving its signature dim sum a Singaporean twist with its limited-time Flavours of Singapore menu. Highlights include the ‘Bak Chor’ Rice Rolls ($9.50), Laksa Seafood Dumplings ($7.90 for three) and ‘Orh Nee’ Salted Egg Sesame Balls ($7.50 for three), alongside XO Fried Rice with Bacon & Luncheon Meat ($13.90). Available until 31 August at all Tim Ho Wan outlets.

Moutarde, Resorts World Sentosa

Chef Paul Pairet is putting a French spin on local favourites with limited-time specials at Moutarde. Look out for the Kaya French Toast ($14++) and Black Pepper Beef Short Ribs, while Sundae Royale is serving kopi-inspired treats including Kopi Soft Serve ($7++), Kopi & Chocolate Cereals Sundae ($9++) and Irish Kopi Sundae ($16++).

SUSHISAMBA Singapore

SUSHISAMBA is serving up exclusive National Day menus over the long weekend, blending Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian flavours with local favourites. Expect dishes like Crab Leg Seviche, SAMBA Rojak, Australian Short Rib and Roasted Whole Chicken with Hainanese Rice, alongside stunning views of the Sentosa fireworks.

Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree

Celebrate National Day in the heart of Mandai with heritage-inspired dining. Forage will be offering refined takes on local hawker favourites through a three-course lunch ($58++), six-course dinner ($148++) and afternoon tea ($18++), while Planter’s Shed will serve a National Day buffet complete with DIY Rojak and Ice Kacang stations.

Crystal Jade Group

Crystal Jade is celebrating Singapore’s food heritage with limited-time specials across its restaurants. Depending on the outlet, you’ll find dishes like White Pepper Crab Meat in Golden Tart ($22), Sesame Otah Prawn Toast ($14.80), Laksa Xiao Long Bao, Pan-Fried Hainanese Chicken Rice Dumplings ($6.80) and Kaya Mochi ($5.80), available until 30 August.

Din Tai Fung

Din Tai Fung is bringing back two fan favourites for National Day: the Steamed Chilli Crab & Pork Xiao Long Bao ($11.80 for four) and Steamed Kaya Bun. The oversized xiao long bao is filled with pork, crab meat and rich chilli crab broth, making it a must-order while it’s back on the menu until 31 August.

The St. Regis Singapore

If you're after something a little more indulgent, The St. Regis Singapore has teamed up with pastry chef Janice Wong on a limited-time National Day Afternoon Tea at The Tea Room. Inspired by Singapore's rich culinary heritage, expect an elegant spread of sweet and savoury creations that reinterpret beloved local flavours, alongside Chef Janice's signature bonbons. It's the perfect excuse to slow down and celebrate the nation's birthday over afternoon tea.

BAR KAP

Raise a glass to Singapore’s birthday at BAR KAP with the signature Pepper Peddler, a cocktail inspired by Singapore’s historic spice trade. Made with baijiu, gin, makgeolli, citrus and peppercorn, it’s best enjoyed alongside the bar’s heritage-inspired bites inside the historic House of Tan Yeok Nee.
