According to Ian Kerner, PhD, sex therapist and NY Times best-selling author of She Comes First, the best foreplay for women is ‘choreplay,’ or when a man does household chores without being asked like the dishes, laundry and vacuuming.

The site GoodInBed.com devoted July 19-25 to helping you have a "better sex life," focusing on foreplay and with Kerner ‘on-call.’

Kerner commented, "once guys start carrying their weight around the house, they’re apt to find that women have more energy inside the bedroom. There’s no motivation like sex!".

‘Choreplay’ has been studied by various researchers from Lebanon to Canada, and in 2010 a tongue-in-cheek calendar Porn for Women was released with each month featuring a man doing a chore around the house. Porn for Women is a photo book series published by Chronicle Books that began in 2007. The 2011 wall calendar is to be published on July 28 priced at USD $13.99.

However ‘choreplay’ may not be the answer to intimacy issues and according to The National Housework Survey of Great Britain 2006, 60 percent of British women claimed cleaning is "mentally therapeutic" and better than sex.

But Neil Chetnik, author of Voice Male: What husbands really think about their marriages, their wives, sex, housework and commitment , found 288 husbands agreed, "the more satisfied a wife is with the division of household duties, the more satisfied a man is with his married sex life."
