Andrew Garfield: Spider-Man suit was super restrictiveAndrew Garfield’s “number one” request for his Spider-Man costume next time round is to “make it easier [for him] to pi*s”.

The British star plays the iconic superhero in the upcoming movie The Amazing Spider-Man. Andrew says the famed red and blue costume was overly restrictive and has revealed what he’d change about the garb for the sequel.

“We’re going to make it easier for me to pi*s. That’s number one,” he joked to MTV News. “It’s like you have to body-shoehorn yourself out of it. It looks good, but they didn’t really consider that, the whole bodily-functions thing. But next time we will remember that I am human.”

Andrew also discussed the costume’s head mask. The 28-year-old star had to get used to his limited vision in the gear – especially during the film’s high-octane stunt scenes.

“That was tough as well, but I don’t think we can readjust that because the eyes have to be the eyes,” he explained. “That was hard, visibility was hard, especially for the bigger stunts because you need to know what you’re doing.”
