You may recognise him from popular Taiwanese singing competition, One Million Star, where he is the only contestant in the history of the show to be awarded 33 out of 25 points for his performance.

Anthony Neely’s touching rendition of “The Blower’s Daughter” by Damien Rice was so well-received by the judges that they stood up and raised their hands to indicate that they would like to award him with more points than the maximum score.

It was only natural that the song that spawned his success was included as a track in his first album, titled, Lesson One in 2010. He then went on to release a second album entitled Wake Up earlier this year.

We sat down for an exclusive interview with the Taiwanese-American singer, who was born in San Diego to a Taiwanese mother and European-American father. The Californian native who graduated from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) chatted with us at the Pan Pacific Hotel, after the press conference for the recent Sundown Festival, which was held on December 1.

The playful crooner won us over with his take on the English accent, and talked about the king of fruits as well as his admiration for Jason Mraz.

With his boyish good looks and friendly demeanor, the 26-year old is bound to be a hit with the ladies! He shared his preferences when it comes to girls with us, so check out the video below to find out how you can catch his eye:
