2. Oh My Bacon

This two-week old cafe is a bacon-lover’s dream.

Pig out on bacon-centric dishes such as Bacon Jam Session ($12), which has bacon-based relish served with baguette slices; Bacon Bomb ($28), a chunky meat loaf made of pork, beef, bacon and cheese; and Bacon Love, Truly ($15), which is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the BLT sandwich and has candied or spicy bacon cushioned between pita bread slathered with bacon jam. Up the fat factor with desserts such as the salty-sweet Jekyll And Hyde, which are bacon strips dipped in dark or white chocolate sauce ($2.50 a piece) or the intriguing bacon ice-cream topped on a bacon-studded brownie ($9).
