Didn’t Get BTS Tickets? 6 Ways To Mend Your Broken ARMY Heart In Singapore

The tickets may be gone, but that doesn’t mean all hope and happiness are.

Securing BTS tickets can feel almost as competitive as getting into your dream university, which means not everyone will walk away with a coveted seat at the National Stadium this December. If you found yourself staring at a queue number that never seemed to move or a dreaded sold out screen, don’t despair just yet. From K-pop dance classes to comforting Korean food, here are six ways to help mend a poor broken ARMY’s heart.

Belt Out Your Feelings At A Karaoke Session

If you cannot see BTS perform live, the next best thing might be performing their songs yourself. Gather fellow ARMYs, book a karaoke room and work your way through fan favourites like Spring Day, Dynamite, Butter and Permission To Dance. Feeling particularly ambitious? Channel Jin and attempt those soaring high notes, or take on one of Jungkook's vocal-heavy parts if you're feeling confident.

Comfort Yourself With A Korean Food Feast

Concert tickets may be sold out, but Korean fried chicken, barbecue and tteokbokki are still readily available. Gather friends, order enough food for the table and spend the evening debating everything from your favourite BTS era to whether RM's introspective lyrics, SUGA's razor sharp rap verses or Jimin's captivating stage presence reign supreme.

Take A K-pop Dance Class

Channel your frustration into something productive by learning one of BTS's iconic choreographies. Whether it's Mic Drop, Boy With Luv or ON, you'll gain a new appreciation for just how much work goes into every performance. Who knows, after a few classes, you might even feel a little closer to dancing like J-Hope or moving across the floor with Jimin's effortless grace.

Treat Yourself To Something Nice

Look on the bright side: you have just freed up a sizeable chunk of your budget. Whether it’s a beauty splurge, a long-awaited wardrobe addition or a BTS related purchase, consider it a reward for surviving one of the most stressful ticketing experiences of the year. You could even channel Jungkook’s effortlessly cool style with pieces from his collaborations and campaigns with Calvin Klein.

Host A BTS Watch Party

Gather friends for a night of BTS content and snacks. Revisit beloved reality series such as Run BTS or Bon Voyage, laugh at V's unpredictable antics and relive some of the group's most memorable moments together. If you're after something more emotional, documentaries like Break The Silence and Yet To Come are guaranteed to remind you why you became an ARMY in the first place.

Plan A Self Care Day And Log Off

For at least a few hours, resist the urge to check resale prices or watch everyone celebrate online. Book a massage, spend the day cafe hopping or enjoy a quiet afternoon with a good book. Take a page out of BTS's own playbook and remember the importance of rest and self care. Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do after a ticketing disappointment is step away from social media and focus on yourself.

Missing out on BTS tickets is never fun, especially when Singapore will be counting down to the group’s six-show run at the National Stadium from 17 to 22 December. But while you may not be in the crowd singing along in person, there are still plenty of ways to celebrate the music, connect with fellow ARMYs and make the most of BTS season in Singapore. After all, being a fan is about far more than a ticket.
