As we reach the halfway point of 2025, June kicks off the highly anticipated season of K-pop summer comebacks. K-pop artistes are returning to impress fans with new music, performances, and content. Whether you’re a dedicated fan or you’re looking for new music to listen to, these K-pop comebacks are sure to keep you entertained all throughout June.

Enhypen

Enhypen is making a powerful return with their sixth mini album, “DESIRE: UNLEASH”. The album includes eight new tracks, led by the title track “Bad Desire (With or Without You)”. Enhypen’s signature sound of emotional intensity and romantic desperation is seen through the title’s slow-paced yet intense rhythms, leaving fans wanting more at the end of the song.

Dressed in sleek suits and unconventional edgy attire in their concept photos, Enhypen stuns with their handsome visuals, living up to their title of an “all-visual” group. Fresh off their Coachella performance, Enhypen is back with what promises to be another no-skip album, following their previous viral hits like “Fever” and “Polaroid Love.”

Kiss of Life

Back with another summer comeback, Kiss of Life is turning up the heat with the release of their fourth EP, “224”. Trendy, refreshing, and effortlessly sultry, Kiss of Life is transforming their sound and image to emerge as cooler and more confident than ever. Recently wrapping up their international tour, “Kiss Road”, the group will drop “224” on June 9, featuring seven new tracks. With the bold and catchy “Lips, Kiss, Hips” leading as the title track, Kiss of Life continues to cement their sultry sound as the signature trademark of the group, a playful yet provocative concept that is not commonly seen in the current generation of K-pop.

Itzy

The ultimate girl crush group is back and better than ever. Itzy is returning with their tenth mini album, “Girls Will Be Girls”, along with a title track of the same name on June 9, featuring five new songs. Known for their dynamic performances, “Girls Will Be Girls” is a dance song with catchy lyrics and a lively tempo that is Itzy’s signature, highlighting their strength in powerful music and performances. Their concept trailer leaves a strong impression of newfound independence, with the members dressed as fierce female fighters in the wild facing conflict and uncertainty. Undeniably stronger and bolder than ever, get ready to fall for Itzy with their captivating charms in “Girls Will Be Girls”.

NCT Doyoung

The vocal powerhouse of NCT, Doyoung, is releasing “Soar” on June 9, his second album consisting of ten tracks that relay deep emotional longing and heartfelt feelings. Having a versatile voice that is both mellow and powerful, Doyoung effortlessly conveys genuine and raw emotions in his singing, which is expected to be heard in this upcoming album. The title track, “Hello Universe”, is meant to resonate with all listeners as a reflection and uplifting of pursuing individual dreams and passions. Aespa

Following their viral hits “Whiplash” and “Supernova”, Aespa’s highly anticipated next comeback is dropping on June 27, a single titled “Dirty Work”. With their members constantly teasing and dropping hints that their upcoming title track encapsulates Aespa’s metallic sound and unique new world identity, fans have been stoked and eager for new music. Bringing EDM-techno music that is unique to their group in the K-pop scene, Aespa has established themselves as an exceptional group with “iron metal” music, internationally recognised with consecutive mega hits in music, even winning the “Group of the Year” award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards 2025.

Ateez

It’s getting hotter this summer with Ateez’s 12th mini album, “Golden Hour: Part 3”, being released on June 13. The album consists of five new tracks, with the title track being “Lemon Drop”, which is expected to follow Ateez’s distinct electrifying sound that combines a catchy rap hook with strong vocal verses. Showing off their sharp visuals and casual charisma in their concept photos, Ateez is piquing public curiosity for their new fiery performances that their new album will bring.

ILLIT

Following the huge success of “Magnetic”, their internationally popular debut song, Illit is back to charm with yet another catchy album. Illit’s third mini album, “bomb”, consists of five tracks that convey the vibe of heart-fluttering schoolgirl romance that will be dropping on June 16. Their title track trailer, “Do the Dance”, encapsulates fun and enchantment and is accompanied by the visuals of the girls in a dreamlike setting, riding bicycles with wired earphones that seem to be filmed on an old digital camera. Embodying a nostalgic and dreamy vibe with “Do the Dance”, Illit is bringing K-pop back to the early 2000s.

j-hope

A new surprise is in store for ARMYs, as J-Hope is dropping his new digital single featuring Glorilla on June 13, titled “Killin’ It Girl”. A hip-hop song expressing the thrill of love at first sight, the lyrics showcase J-hope’s undeniable affection for the apple of his eye. Combining J-Hope’s smooth vocals with Glorilla’s deep and husky rap vocal style, “Killin’ It Girl” embodies an addictive melody with trendy beats, following his previous releases “Mona Lisa” and “Sweet Dreams”.

QWER

Kpop’s first female band in years, QWER, will be releasing their third mini album, “I’m on your side, even if the whole world is dissonant” on June 9–featuring six tracks with the title being “Holding back tears”. The album revolves around persevering while chasing one’s dreams within the harsh reality, and aims to comfort listeners who are feeling discouraged and losing faith in themselves. Using their signature sound of rock and pop fusion, all members of QWER have participated in composing their upcoming album, staying true to their signature sound of relatable band music that conveys hope and strength.

Kang Daniel

Looking dreamy with soft expressions, Kang Daniel exudes a mellow vibe in his concept photos for his upcoming comeback. Kang Daniel’s sixth mini album, “Glow to Haze”, is slated for release on June 16, and the combination of a whimsical mood with the decoration of vintage records surrounding him in concept photos is piquing fans’ curiosity for the genre and sound of his upcoming album. Partaking in the musical composition of the album himself for “Glow to Haze”, Kang Daniel’s journey from solo artist to musician is being captured through his upcoming album. Kang Daniel was previously the emcee for the popular Korean dance show “Street Woman Fighter” and the centre member of the project group “Wanna One”, which allowed him to soar to success through his projects’ international fame and recognition.

Cravity

Bidding farewell to the past and welcoming a new beginning, Cravity is back with their second full album on June 23, “Dare to Crave”, following an image and identity rebrand. With a change in their logo and a redefinition of their group’s identity, the group name Cravity is now a depiction of “Craving Gravity”. Swapping leaders from member Serim to members Hyeongjun and Wonjin, Cravity is expected to showcase a new image and sound that the group has never attempted before with their rebrand. Their newly announced identity allows fans to be curious about what the future entails for them, with promised deeper music and a positive change in their content. Cravity was the winner of Mnet’s Korean boy group survival programme “Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace”, competing against four other admired boy groups.

Izna

With members selected from the K-pop girl group survival program, “I-Land 2: N/a”, Izna is set to stun with a new single album, “Beep”. With their executive producer being Teddy, the producer for Blackpink as well, fans and the general public are excited to see what new music Izna will bring to the K-pop scene, after their previous refreshing hits “Izna” and “Sign”. With the release of “Beep” scheduled for June 9, Izna has teased their new music through dance challenges and music video teasers, which feature them styled in high-teen fashion and showcasing an adorable, sweet mood in relation to the song’s vibe.
