The Korean fast food chains to know in Singapore right now
Korean fast food is on the rise in Singapore. Here are the chains you need to know.
By Annabelle Jeffrey -
With the return of Mom’s Touch and the arrival of Lotteria earlier this year, it seems Korean fast food chains are steadily making their way into Singapore. And honestly, we’re not complaining. More Korean burgers, fried chicken and comfort food? Count us in.
From cult favourites to some of South Korea’s biggest fast food brands, here’s a roundup of the Korean fast food chains you can find in Singapore.
Lotteria
After years of anticipation, South Korea’s beloved burger chain finally made its Singapore debut earlier this year with its first outlet at Jewel Changi Airport. Best known for its Korean inspired take on fast food, Lotteria serves everything from its signature Bulgogi Burger and Shrimp Burger to crispy fried chicken and fries. While there's only one outlet for now, it's the perfect pit stop before your flight to South Korea, or a tasty consolation if you don't have a trip planned just yet.
BHC Chicken
One of South Korea’s largest fried chicken chains, BHC Chicken has built a loyal following for its crispy double fried chicken and bold flavours. Its bestselling Bburinkle Chicken, coated in a savoury cheese seasoning, is a must order for first timers, while other favourites include Hot Bburinkle and Gold King Chicken. Round out your meal with classic Korean sides like cheese balls and tteokbokki.
Oven & Fried Chicken
Operating in Singapore since 2014, Oven & Fried Chicken combines two popular Korean brands, OKKUDAK and SSALDAK, offering both oven roasted and fried chicken under one roof. Alongside its crispy chicken, you’ll also find Korean comfort favourites like kimchi fried rice, army stew, tteokbokki and seafood pancakes. Whether you’re Team Oven or Team Fried, this spot makes a strong case for ordering both and calling it research.
Daily Chicken
If you’re looking for more than just fried chicken, Daily Chicken is worth adding to your list. Brought to Singapore in partnership with South Korea’s Daily Beer, the chain serves up Korean fried chicken alongside favourites like gimbap, tteokbokki, ramyeon and rice bowls. It’s a convenient stop for a quick and satisfying Korean meal without the fuss.
Nene Chicken
One of South Korea’s popular fried chicken chains, NeNe Chicken has been a familiar name in Singapore for years. The brand is known for its crispy Korean fried chicken and crowd-pleasing flavours, from Original and Swicy to Freaking Hot and Snowing Cheese. If you’re not ready to commit to just one flavour, this is your sign to order it half and half and call it balance.
Mom’s Touch (Coming soon)
Good news for fans of Mom’s Touch. The South Korean fast food chain is officially making its return to Singapore later this year after four long years. Famous for its juicy Thigh Burger, crispy fried chicken and generous portions, the brand has long been a favourite among Korean fast food lovers. While you’ll have to wait a little longer before getting your fix, it’s one reopening that’s already generating plenty of excitement.
Go Pizza
Go Pizza brings a Korean spin to fast food pizza with its fuss-free, single-serving pies that are easy to grab on the go. The brand started in South Korea and is known for its quick service model, making it a handy option when you want pizza without committing to a whole sharing box. Perfect for days when “just one slice” was never going to be enough.
Eat Pizza
Also hailing from South Korea, Eat Pizza specialises in long, rectangular pizzas made for one. With three outlets in Singapore, the chain serves up flavours ranging from classic cheese and pepperoni to more Korean-inspired options. It’s great for solo lunches, quick dinners or those times when you want pizza without having to negotiate toppings with anyone else.
Pizza Maru
Pizza Maru is a South Korean pizza chain known for its Korean-style pizzas, fried chicken and signature green tea well-being dough. The menu goes beyond the usual pizza flavours, with options like bulgogi, Korean surf and turf and cheesy chicken combinations. Come for the pizza, stay for the slightly chaotic joy of ordering fried chicken on the side too.
