What could be even better than a day of fun under the sun when you’re having it at the beach – and with ice cream?
Ben & Jerry’s annual ChunkFest will be back again this year with carnival activities, new ice cream flavours, and of course – the yearly Vermonster challenge, where teams compete against each other to chow down a huge bucket of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.
This year’s ChunkFest will feature 13 ice cream flavours exclusive to the US, such as red velvet cake, raspberry fudge chunk greek yoghurt, and peach cobbler. They will be available to be bought and tasted only during ChunkFest. This year’s event will also see a new ice cream flavour joining the Ben and Jerry’s family in Singapore – the couch potato, a vanilla bean flavoured ice cream with caramel and fudge covered potato chips.
The Vermonster challenge will also be held in the event itself, with teams of four fighting for the prize – a year’s supply of Vermonster. To sign up, drop Ben and Jerry’s Singapore’s Facebook page a private message of why you want to take part in the challenge, and Ben and Jerry’s will choose the participants based on their answers.
Regular ChunkFest attendees will also be seeing something new at this year’s ChunkFest – a movie screening of the Roald Dahl’s book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The Ben and Jerry’s ChunkFest 2013 will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Promontory @ Marina Bay. Admission is free, so treat yourself to ice cream and fun at the ChunkFest!
