How to redeem & use your SG Culture Pass $100 credits in Singapore
Curious about how the SG Culture Pass 2025 works? Here’s everything Singaporeans need to know – from eligibility and credits, to the top arts and heritage experiences that await you
By Elise Wong -
Whether you’re a seasoned arts enthusiast or simply seeking a reason to explore Singapore’s cultural scene, the SG Culture Pass 2025 opens doors you might not have thought to knock on. With credits to spend on performances, exhibitions, and workshops, it’s designed to make discovering local arts not just accessible, but delightfully irresistible.
Here’s a quick FAQ to answer the essentials – who’s eligible, how to use your credits, and what experiences you can enjoy.
What are the SG Culture Pass $100 Credits for in Singapore?
Launched in 2025, the SG Culture Pass is Singapore’s first major initiative aimed at broadening participation in the arts and heritage sector. Supported by $300 million in government funding and partnered with over 100 organisations at the time of writing, the scheme offsets ticket costs for a variety of Singapore-focused cultural experiences.
The first-of-its-kind initiative offers subsidised access to local performances, exhibitions, and workshops – so it won’t cover international pop concerts, like your next K-pop show. Nevertheless, by reducing financial barriers, the programme encourages first-time attendees to explore arts offerings and, potentially, continue participating in the sector over time.
Who is eligible for the SG Culture Pass $100 Credits?
Every eligible Singapore citizen, aged 18 and above in 2025, will receive $100 in credits, which are linked to one’s personal SingPass account. Individuals can access their credits via sgculturepass.gov.sg, which also allows users to:
- View the full list of eligible events
- Check their credit balance
- Redeem credits when purchasing tickets through authorised providers
Use of the SG Culture Pass – in addition to the full list of eligible events – will be available from 1 September 2025. Credits must be used for events taking place on or before 31 December 2028.
Need help getting started? SG Culture Pass Ambassadors are available at select community clubs and ServiceSG Centres.
How do I withdraw & use my SG Culture Pass $100 Credits?
Once an event is selected on the Culture Pass portal, users will be redirected to one of six authorised ticketing partners: Sistic, BookMyShow, Klook, Pelago, Globaltix, and Trip.com.
To redeem credits:
- Choose SG Culture Pass under payment.
- Credits are applied automatically to the purchase.
- Any remaining cost can be paid via credit card or PayNow.
Credits can also be used to purchase tickets for family members, such as parents buying for children. They are, however, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Unlike other government vouchers, such as CDC or SG60 vouchers, the credits do not come in fixed denominations. Instead, the maximum value of the ticket will be deducted from an individual’s available credits.
What counts as local arts & culture heritage events for SG Culture Pass Credit use?
The SG Culture Pass includes a wide range of local arts and heritage experiences, such as:
- Literary arts, such as poetry readings, spoken word, literary talks, and Sing Lit-related events
- Dance, such as dance classes and talks
- Music, such as learning tours of/about music and concerts
- Theatre, such as plays, talks, and dramatised readings
- Visual arts, such as exhibitions and workshops
- Heritage, such as heritage-related festival programmes, experiences, and tours
The individual programmes must take place in Singapore and require in-person attendance.
It is worth noting that the SG Culture Pass is intended to support arts and heritage activities, rather than subsidise individual training. As such, multi-session series – for example, workshops with multiple sessions for the same group of participants – are not eligible for credit redemption.
The pass also cannot be used for private events like weddings or company functions, and all eligible programs must be ticketed through the aforementioned SG Culture Pass ticketing partners.
Where can I use my SG Culture Pass $100 credits?
The first batch of eligible programmes includes over 400 events. Live performances account for around 40 per cent, while workshops and talks make up another 30 per cent. Most events – approximately 70 per cent – are priced at $50 or below, meaning a typical $100 allocation can cover at least two tickets.
