The Formula 1 season in Singapore has proven to be one of the most electrifying moments of the year, time and time again. Racing-themed pop-ups sprout up everywhere, hotel rooms get booked out, and almost everyone around you suddenly has developed an interest in motorsports. But while you might know what goes on on the track, you might wonder: what actually happens behind the scenes before race weekend?

Last year, Singapore GP debuted All Access — a behind-the-scenes experience at the F1 Pit Building that gave the public a closer look at how Singapore’s streets are transformed into the Marina Bay Street Circuit. It was the programme’s first edition, yet it drew an astounding 17,700 attendees, a clear sign of just how big motorsport has become in Singapore.

With the Grand Prix season fast approaching from 9 to 11 October 2026, Singapore GP is bringing back All Access 2.0, the second edition of the well-loved behind-the-scenes format. Running from 26 June to 26 July, the F1 Pit Building will once again open its doors — but this time, things are bigger and better. As part of the new experience, you’ll get to explore spaces including the podium and cool-down room, and new for 2026: Race Control. For the unacquainted, this is essentially where every overtake, every flag, and every split-second call gets made. It’s the nerve centre of the entire race weekend, and honestly, it’s not somewhere I ever thought they’d let the public into.

You’ll also get to see the things most people never think about — the steel kerbs, the TECPRO barriers — the unglamorous building blocks that quietly hold an entire Formula 1 circuit together. And last but not least, there’s a chance to sit in the commentary booth and call a race like the pros do at beIN SPORTS Asia. If you’re lucky, you might even walk away with tickets to some fan-favourite events.

If that hasn’t convinced you enough, the event is also completely free. Yes, you read that right. There are five sessions a day, from 10am to 8pm, and all you need to do is register for a spot. Spots go fast, though, so I’d set a reminder if I were you. Registration opens on Monday, 22 June 2026, at 10:30am, at singaporegp.sg.
