Hoping to score a date before Valentine’s Day? Mediacorp is calling on singles – and their emotional-support besties – to sign up for its upcoming reality dating show, Wingman.

The premise? Participants team up with their closest friends to navigate the highs and lows of modern romance. Talk about putting yourselves out there.

“The inclusion of best friends in the search for love reflects a slice of reality and offers a refreshing twist on the typical singles-centric show format we’re familiar with,” says Angeline Poh, chief customer and corporate development officer at Mediacorp.

The show is currently seeking pairs of single friends aged 21 to 35 (as of 31 January 2026) from across Southeast Asia. Applicants must be legally single, fluent in English, and available to film in Singapore for up to three weeks in 2026.

Interested pairs can apply at www.mediacorp.sg/wingman, submitting their names, ages, recent photographs and a one-minute introductory video. In the video, applicants are encouraged to share what makes their friendship unique, why they’re both still single, and why their best friend would make the ultimate wingman.

And if you’re wondering, “What’s in it for me?” Beyond a shot at true love and a moment of national fame, selected participants will receive accommodation and meals – with the chance to walk away with attractive prizes too. Consider it the ultimate test of friendship.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and close on 31 January 2026.
