For the upcoming Chinese New Year, we’ve curated a list of seven yusheng options at different price points. Shaped like an intricate fan to symbolise prosperity and good fortune, it features a refreshing ensemble of fresh fruits dressed in a tangy apple, ginger flower and sour plum dressing, accented with delicate crunch. Topped with abalone, raw salmon and lobster, this refined creation melts in the mouth, offering a truly auspicious start to the new year.
Aside from these festive specials, traditional Yu Sheng is also available from $95.90 for Vegetarian, as well as special-edition variations such as Crispy Salted Egg Yolk Fish Skin for $108.80.

Shaped in the Chinese character for horse, The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore’s Prosperity Salmon Yu Sheng Platter makes a striking centrepiece for Chinese New Year celebrations. Available in a small portion (serves 3–5) at $98 nett and a large platter (serves 6–8) at $168 nett, this festive offering balances tradition with a touch of luxury.

If a lavish buffet at Grand Hyatt Singapore isn’t on the cards this Lunar New Year, you can still lo hei in style with their Yu Sheng available for takeaway and delivery. The classic Smoked Atlantic Salmon Yu Sheng comes in Medium (S$58++, serves four to six) and Large (S$78++, serves seven to ten) portions – perfect for intimate family gatherings or larger celebrations.
