If an unlimited a la carte zi char buffet at $29.90 per person sounds too good to be true – well, it kind of is. The one-for-one promotion, running at Yue at Aloft since April, is only available for a limited time (though no end date has been confirmed). It’s even gone viral on Tiktok – and if it’s on Tiktok, it has to be legit… right?

Wondering if it’s worth a cheat day? The answer is a resounding yes. When Her World dropped by for a weekday lunch, the restaurant was packed with diners digging into over 20 zi char dishes on offer.

Highlights include the tangy sweet and sour pork with popping candy, crispy baby squid, fried shrimp paste chicken, and kung pao duck confit. And here’s a bonus: both the duck confit and salted egg crab are available as a complimentary serving under the promotion.

While some dishes come in individual portions, others – like the duck confit and aromatic Chinese wine chicken – are generous enough to share. That is, if you’re in the mood to share.

One dish you’ll definitely want to keep all to yourself? The restaurant’s signature Limpeh bee hoon – stir-fried to wok hei perfection. And don’t skip the silky smooth homemade beancurd dessert, a special recipe by head chef Awyeong Kin, which you can customise with more than 15 toppings, from red bean paste to chewy taro balls.

For a limited time, enjoy Yue’s a la carte buffet with a one-for-one promotion – lunch from $29.90++ (U.P. $59.80++) and dinner from $35.90++ (U.P. $71.80++) per person. More information here.
