Starbucks Singapore teased the launch of the drink with posted a gif of the drink on its Facebook page last month. The post drew more than 700 likes, 200 shares and 250 comments. It wrote: "One week before I finally land in Singapore. The name's um_kin S_ice L_tt_. #6Sept #CantWait".
Just yesterday, the coffeehouse chain got coffee devotees in Singapore all excited with another gif of the drink with a cheeky caption that says, “Spice just right. Whip is looking sharp. Allllmost ready. #2days #6Sept”.

The now-classic fall drink was created in 2003 with a recipe that used pumpkin spice sauce with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, espresso and steamed milk - and finished off with whipped cream and a dash of pumpkin pie topping. The drink is a cult favourite amongst Americans and it is released for the fall season annually.
We don’t know for sure whether the perennially popular Pumpkin Spice Latte will live up to hype, but one thing is for sure, we are so pumpkin ready for it.
