Have a go at their Vegetable Tempura Risotto. The vegetables are coated in a thin layer of batter and crisply fried till a golden brown on the outside. What we love about this is that it isn’t oily at all and the vegetables retains its freshness. The risotto is done al dente. Creamy yet light, it pairs well with the tempura.

We recommend ordering a plate of Crab Meat Pumpkin Capellini. Sitting in a brandy tomato cream sauce, expect a generous serving of crab meat, roasted bell peppers, olives and fresh basil. The roasted bell peppers adds a extra dose of savouriness to the sauce while the fresh basil helps to cut the taste.

At Afterglow, the restaurant aims at bringing sexy back to these vegetables by offering up plant-based diet that are flavourful and refreshing. We suggest trying the Raw Zucchini Linguine with Walnut ‘Meat’-Balls. Tossed in dehydrated tangy cherry tomato sauce, the spiralised zucchini adds a crunchy texture to the dish. Here comes the fun part: Shiitake and dates ‘meat’-balls. The shiitake mushrooms lends a savoury factor to the ‘meat’-balls while the dates and almond crumble cheese helps to gel the ingredients together, to give it the ‘meat’ texture.

The pumpkin lends sweetness to the savoury chicken, while the avocado and hummus adds creaminess to the bowl. If you’re feeling for some wine, order a glass of organic red to complement the meal.
